a thing that I've seen a lot lately is the reactions people have when white ccs and poc ccs interact or are friends. It's so weird, because I've seen people treat it like a diversity win or whatever... Like it's a trophy to give the white person that they're friendly or joke around with a poc cc. Totally treating the poc as a prop instead of a , you know, actual person having the other half of the interaction.

These are people having conversations, laughing together, joking around, just being friends.

And it's not seen as a friendship but as if two characters of a tv show have screentime together.

Please. Get out, talk with people. Make friends. Touch grass. See how the real world works, how real people go about their day.

It's quite unnerving to see you treat real human beings as props in other people's lives.
