He stepped out of the shower with his hair folded against his skull, still pretty wet. He had been truly taking his time in the first place, still somehow shocked that each time he was facing Lilu, he was just unable to control himself. It was such a strange and despicable emotion, toxic, sticking to the skin like a veil of lust he couldn’t get rid of. He pinched his lips together as he retrieved his pack of cigarettes, and eventually sat at the edge of the bed. Shit. He was marked everywhere. Teeth, scratches… Lilu would print his brand on him as if he was a piece of meat.

When he lightened his cigarette, he heard that familiar feline voice purring a compliment he was expecting at all. A cloud of gray smoke escaped his mouth while he turned around, unsure how to answer this. “You’re fucking with me?” Mattia asked with his heavy Italian accent, but somehow, he felt warmer inside thanks to this. It was just about the way Lilu had pronounced the words… The way he had insisted on it. He remained contemplating for a moment, almost tempted to crawl back to his side.

No. He didn’t want to fall in that trap again. He wished to resist it.

“You had enough of your fun today, figlio di Satana. A low huff escaped Zodiac’s covered mouth, his gray eyes full of wrath and fury, while Lilu was bent over him. Once more, the room was mapped with fresh dismambled corpses, the smell of their blood invading the young man’s nostrils. He thought that he was going crazy – his mind was breaking inch by inch every time he was around the demon. He didn’t know for how long he could continue like this; Lilu was nursed deep within his mind, nesting there, and coming out just to tease, take, kill, and manipulate the commander of the Cleaners.

“Mppffff Mmmmh!” Zodiac tried to speak, but the gag was too tightly rolled around his mouth. His tongue was dry, he couldn’t even swallow.
