. 精旗᭟ ## ◜ the fashion show that has everyone in a choke hold ◝ ◕ The streets of Harajuku were abuzz with excitement for the inaugural Hello Kitty Fashion Show Week! Hundreds of people from the small town made their way to the side streets to participate the sight with their very owned Hello Kitty merchandise. Photographers were all over, capturing the beautiful atmosphere of the event.

◕ . . . . Miso Youko, the genius mastermind behind this creation, caused a cultural shock with models from various backgrounds taking part, and this subsequently became a talking point on the internet and in international magazines. Here are some amazing photos of the event that were captured by the photographers.

🤍 . 精旗᭟ ## ◜ when asked would do more conventions like this◝ ◕ Youko laughed and nodded in agreement, she went on to explain, 'I had the thought of putting on a fun and offbeat fashion show in Japan, using a recognized kawaii character. My teammates then suggested, 'Hey, why not use Hello Kitty?' And that's how the show idea was born!'
