hi my brain just drew a really mean parallel about s1 when kat felt like she held the entire fate of the federation on her shoulders and thought she’d lost,  and kat in s2 when she held the fates of the crew of the enterprise and probably discovery and therefore the federation itself again on her shoulders and……  just…..  the difference in her feeling powerless to save lives and knowing she directly could save So Many lives fucks me up and i hate one goddamn heroic dumbass and i’m still sO MAD AT HER
