[Possibly] Helpful Points for those using 1stp / 2ndp neos

If you're not sure whether to use singular (eg is / was) or plural (eg are / were) verbs, try saying it aloud! It's usually best to go with whichever sounds right!

Or you could think of it this way, instead:

1stp neos

If the pronouns sound similar to I/me/my/mine/myself , or are based off a noun, it's typically best to use singular verbs!*

Examples: Ae/aem/aey/aen/aeself ;; Vi/ve/vy/vene/vyself ;; Ki/kit/kitty/kine/kittyself ;; Rat/rat/rats/rats/ratself

If they sound more like we/us/our/ours/ourselves(or ourself), or the reflexive pronoun ends with -selves, then plural verbs are the way to go!

Examples: ;; Wei/muis/muir/muirs/muirselves

* - if your 1stp neos sound similar to I/me/my but you specifically use them in a plural way, then use plural verbs! They're your pronouns after all, you can do what you want!

2ndp neos

Because they're used in place of you/you/your/(etc), which always use plural verbs even when singular, it makes sense that Second person neos generally follow the same rule!

For example: [singular] You are a good person! ;; [plural] You are good people!

It helps that many 2ndp neos sound similar to you/your, but not all!

Examples: No/no/nov/novas/novaself - "No are a good person!" (It may sound a bit funny just reading it, but imagine you're saying it directly to someone!)

The exception to this rule is nameself 2ndp pronouns! Unless specified to be plural, single verbs are used!

Examples: Horizon nameself pronouns - "Horizon is a lovely being!"

Anywho,, hope this can help someone out there! My school was quite strict when it came to grammar, so this shall be etched [metaphorically] into my brain for many years to come xD /lh

Ae'm Asteroid. Ae use all pronouns, but xy favourites are in xy pronouny (linked in xy carrd). Ae am a minor and ageless. Ae use first person and second person neopronouns. The full sets for the first person neos are ae/aem/aey/aen/aeself and x/xe/xy/xine/xyself.

How to request: send in ask with the definition of what you want. You can also send in name suggestions for it and anything you want on the flag, like symbols or colours, but that's optional. If you send in a request based around a piece of media, please include colours for the flag just in case ae don't know that piece of media
