Glancing up from the old book she had been reading, which she might have stolen from another ship, Kyleigh let out a sigh and gave the stranger her full attention. She hadn't seen another human-like being for some time, but her sense of smell let her know right away that this one wasn't exactly human.

"I can smell that from here. So I guess the question of the hour would be: what are you then?"
