so hey hi, it’s shay ya girl. this is my other bb child sybill ur fav seer ( okay, maybe not ) i do mostly play her canonically (there’s not like hella info on her? so like? deffo look under the cut if u wanna learn a bit about hogwarts age!sybill)

EARLY LIFE (tw: parental death, suicide, depression (ish?) )

sybill is the great great granddaughter of the great seer cassandra.

syb is an only child and her dad died when she was four from his own hand, her mother never told her why, and she’s not entirely sure she even knows why.

either way, it was kept under wraps. her family isn’t rich or anything, they were perfectly upper middle class but still didn’t want anyone talking about the deceased member of their family.

so she was raised up by her mother and her sister. became close with her cousin but when they went to separate houses in hogwarts, they stopped talking to her for whatever reason. (hi, wanted connection ! )

her mother, having lost her husband, became obsessed with the idea of sybill developing the seer powers of her great great grandma, she would make sybill stay in solitude looking into crystal balls and trying to look into the future.

if sybill can see into the future, they wouldn’t lose anyone else, .... right?

so she couldn’t really make any friends when she was young because of it. being locked away and forced to become this ‘prodigy’ really took a toll on ya girl. 

there was shockingly a little question when she was put in hufflepuff, (not much) but since deep down she puts herself first, ther was a millisecond when the hat contemplated slytherin for her. 

but no one questioned when the bubbly little friendly weird girl got put in hufflepuff. she’s always talking in riddles and probably would get bullied lol

does she give u some luna vibes yet? but she’s not smart like luna was, and she wants to have friends

other lil thing.

remember when they were like? oH TRELAHRUUY she predicts students deaths evERY year they’re all alive lol. ok but all of those students died in the battle of hogwarts.

she is actually a talented seer, but more than half the shit she spews is garbage so people don’t really take her seriously.

she will turn into a bubbling mess after a certain point.
