Writing inspiration has been pretty low lately, so sorry about that... and I also have been preoccupied with a survival city building sim game. So far it's been quite the time saving my growing city from one crisis after another and I got to put some social theories to the test. As well as, seeing how things play out based on some ethical choices you are forced to make. In case people have no idea what I am talking about, it's F.rostpunk.

you’re sitting on the bathroom counter, legs dangling, arms crossed tightly over your chest. oscar’s standing in front of you with the gentlest expression, holding a tiny razor like it’s made of gold.

“you don’t have to help,” you mumble, cheeks hot. “it’s just stupid facial hair.”

he shakes his head, stepping closer. “it’s not stupid if it makes you feel weird.”

“hormones are ruining my life,” you mutter, avoiding his eyes. “my skin’s breaking out, my face is fuzzy, i feel like i’m becoming a werewolf.”

oscar raises an eyebrow. “a very cute werewolf.”

you glare. he smiles. “okay, okay. sorry. serious mode.”

he taps your thigh gently. “tilt your head back for me?”

you do, slowly, even though the embarrassment is loud in your ears. but he’s so careful, so calm, so normal about it. like helping his girlfriend shave her face is just another tuesday task. no judgment. just love.

he runs warm water over a towel and presses it to your skin first, softening everything. then he starts with the razor, short little strokes, checking in every few seconds. “this okay?” “let me know if anything hurts.” “you’re doing so well.”

and all you can do is sit there and blink back tears because no one’s ever made you feel less weird about this.

when he’s done, he sets everything down and gently pats your cheeks with moisturizer. “there. soft as a peach.”

“more like a hairless cat,” you say, but you’re smiling now.

he leans in and kisses your jaw. “the prettiest one.”

later, you’re curled up on the couch, face pressed into his shoulder, and he’s scrolling through memes to distract you from the post-hormonal spiral.

“we should start a self-care channel,” he says randomly.

you lift your head. “what?”

“like, ‘osc & the werewolf’—shaving tutorials, hormone-friendly snacks, emotional support playlists…”

you laugh, shoving him. “you’re the worst.”

“and yet, you let me near your face with a razor.”

“you’re lucky i love you.”

he kisses your temple. “luckiest guy alive.”

notes: This is my first hair mod that I have successfully completed (meaning not having my warden walking around with a missing/invisible scalp and hair)! Super excited to have finally learned how to properly use the Dragon Age Blender plugin. notes: A reshade I made for my personal game with my Lavellan, Bren. This preset is more brighter compared to the vanilla game with added sharpening aswell as some visual grain. Also has magicHDR enabled, making in game visual effects more bloomy and adding an even more "magical" look to them. UI can sometimes be affected. So if you aren't a fan of that look you can always disable it through the reshade menu.
