[Wriothesley shifted slightly to kiss Neuvillette's cheek.]

You asked before you did anything and when I said no you didn't do it. I'd never be mad about that.

“I know I should not apologize but… i still feel inclined to.”

[Neuvillette purred softly, eyes fluttering closed for a moment, before opening his eyes, moving some of Wriothesleys hair away from his face]

[Wriothesley smiled as he hopped back up, picking up the blankets and wrapping up.]

[Neuvillette chuckled softly, following and grabbing some of the blanket’s Wriothesley was wrapped in and nuzzling beneath them himself, pressing a kiss to his jaw as he warmed up his temperature]

I'm glad to hear that.

[Wriothesley looked up at Neuvillette as he bit down, sucking on Neuvillette's neck.]

[Neuvillette flinched slightly before relaxing, letting out a breath as he opened his eyes, attempting to look down at Wriothesley without disturbing him, tail gently wagging]

The amount of work Neuvillette had to do had sharply spiked while he had been with Wriothesley, a large amount of paperwork stacked high on his desk and trials for almost everyday, Neuvillette himself stretched thin between the two.

Sedene had attempted to help, bringing Neuvillette food and water… but the dragon was unable to eat or drink, feeling sick when he had tried and unwilling to risk it again. Time seemed to blur together, the only thing capable of telling him the time was the trial, signaling the afternoon of a new day.

He wasn’t quite sure how much time had passed. Nausea hitting him hard any time he stood up, words being spoken fuzzy with concern and letters written seeming less coherent when he re-read them, everything beginning to feel wrong as he shakily pushed himself to stand.

His vision went dark as the world spinned, attempting to walk to one of his cabinets as his vision didn’t return like it would, white flecks joining into the darkness as the world turned, the floor suddenly against his side as he stared off into the darkness, the noise attracting Sedene into the room as his eyes fluttered closed, body finally giving up despite the protests of his mind.

[Wriothesley quietly walked up to the water's edge. He crossed his legs and sat down next to Neuvillette. He tilted his umbrella slightly so it only covered him, allowing the rain to hit Neuvillette.]

[Neuvillette glanced over, eyes reddened but despite it, his tears still ran down his cheeks, a consistent flow. He pulled both legs close to his chest, quiet as the sound of rain filled the silence, ever so drenched by the downpour]

[There was a knock at Neuvillette's office door.]

“Wriothesley?”

[Neuvillette stood up from his desk, walking to the door and opening it, blinking surprisingly at Wriothesley before giving a soft smile, horns twitching]

“Hello, love. It is nice to see you.”

[He let out a soft relieved sigh, nuzzling against Wriothesley, pecking his lips for a moment]

“…thank you for allowing me to do that.”

[Wriothesley was rather entangled in Neuvillette and the duvet when he woke up. He nuzzled against Neuvillette's cheek ]

Morning.

[Neuvillette was purring deeply, half asleep and nuzzled close to him, tail tightening around him as he yawned]

“Good morning.”

[Neuvillettes glowing pulse only picked up slightly, nuzzling closer with a soft huff, the tip of his tail attempting to wag despite being wrapped around him]

[Wriothesley pressed closer, nipping Neuvillette's lip slightly.]

[Neuvillette purred louder, tail tightening around Wriothesleys legs. His hand traveled to rest on Wriothesleys waist, the other resting on the dukes cheek]

“Do you always think of such things around me…?”

[Wriothesley pulled Neuvillette close.]

Am I allowed to find out what happens?

“Yes, you are.”

[Wriothesley stared in shock.]

“What? They do not control me. I do believe I can conduct my own investigation if I wish.”

[As Wriothesley and Neuvillette sat in Jueyun Karst, Wriothesley's eyes drifted down to the distant ground below, his expression dropping slightly.]

[Neuvillette glanced over, eyes taking in his expression and smile faltering into a soft frown, pulling Wriothesley closer]

“Mon amour? Is something the matter?”

[Just outside the door to Neuvillette's office, Wriothesley and Sedene could be heard talking with each other.]

[Neuvillette yawns softly, hearing Wriothesleys voice and pushing himself to stand, horns twitching as he walks over to the door, pushing it open and peeking over at the two]

“Mon amour? And good morning Sedene.”
