What you're looking at is Kidde's main reference, first being made on November 2021, to December 2022, then on July 2023.

Retrospective thoughts under the cut!

It's - kind of wild to see not just the overall visual improvement of her reference overall, but to also behold the evolution of her being.

Initially, she was very mysterious to me when I created her first ever reference - not one for much conversation, very spacey, dainty and frail in form. I learned quickly that she was definitely some sort of goddess in disguise but had no idea what of really. Essentially, she kind of lacked a personality pretty much.

In 2022's reference, much more of Kidde became known to me - she is THE Primordial Moth and an ancient soul from a past iteration of my Paracosm (more on that another day). And literally - she is my daughter; the embodiment of who is to become my firstborn child someday (apologies if i sound whack there; it's very personal.). While she was still overall quiet, she developed hobbies, preferences, and overall becoming quite elegant, as reflected with her lowered eyes.

Now come 2023 .... Kidde is a fully-fledged person at this point. Her eyes developed more life as I learned more about her - her fears, her dislikes, her personal thoughts and opinions on things. Now! SHE SPEAKS! She speaks lackadaisically, or speaks bold statements ever so calmly, or speaks with great conviction for those who can't speak up - a fledgling goddess sharing the ways of mortalhood to other D. Souls and also enjoying said life alongside her precious M. Soul friends. She knows how to fight, she's learning to gain her own Karma - yet she is still very cute, very moth-like .... but also developing well as a little goddess and daughter of me, THE HOST.

Speaking as both her creator and mother, I'm genuinely excited to see how she continues to develop and grow as we move into 2024. ♥

Made this back in October last year, shortly after checking out THE OLDEST VIEW by Kane Pixels alongside my beloved friends. Having seen that the rolling giant is based on a real statue and that his hands were leaves really ignited my imagination. Had a good time drawing this!

My young little goddess is going to help this being come back to life .... or something, I do not know.

SKYTOBER 2022 ILLUSTRATION SERIES.

WEEK 2 (OCTOBER 9TH - OCTOBER 15TH).

Week 2 of my SKYTOBER 2022 Illustration Series!  Something about the prompts of that week *really* ignited my art muse, thus I began deviating from the original “only sketches” plan and let myself add color using different medium approaches!  This week’s cover art is inspired by the works of 96YUZU, one of my all-time favorite Sky artists.

09 PERFORMANCE: “YO YO YO!!  This is DJ KRILLIN’ AND PARTY KRILL, READY TO LIGHT UP THE STARS-!!  LEMME HEAR THOSE SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAMS~!!!”  Upon learning how to use a DJ set in realms beyond the Sky Kingdom, Azzarah and PARTY begin getting some special gigs to some parties!

10 MEDITATION: Kidde and Moro found a meditation candle from Roneku, and Kidde’s guts are busted!!  Moro, however seems to not find his brother’s message as hilarious...

11 RAINBOW: “You’re the reason why I try my best to spread rainbows n’ good vibes everywhere I go .... ‘cuz you’re my rainbow in a dead kingdom.  I’ll always adora ya, my beautiful little goddess. ♥”

12 NEW FRIEND: Upon the newly born Sissyin feeling overwhelmed from boisterous bullies, a smaller figure approaches. “Here.  This is for you.  I’ll take you to a less overwhelming place.”

13 FREE DAY: “I’ll triumph.  Against all the odds that stand in my way.”

14 LAZY TIMES: If you find Kidde asleep, you may as well leave for a while; once she falls asleep, there’s no chance of waking her up! Thus she missed a candle run with her friends that day.

15 UNDERWATER: “Nothing will matter here. Not now. Or ever.” After having failed to safe The Primordial Moth from his corrupted brother and THE SEEKER, the other Elder of the Valley accepted their fate as they sank further and further into the infinite underwater abyss.

All artwork is done traditionally, with touch-ups made using CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO. Clients have received the original res commissions via email.

Here are some heart orders from the April double heart event! I only open heart orders during these because it helps speed up the payment process.

The first three heart orders were the last ones done with my old chibi style, as I felt no satisfaction for it being "chibi" and it looked awkward at times. These smaller, simpler ones feel a lot more enjoyable to create for people! ^v^

SKYTOBER 2022 ILLUSTRATION SERIES.

WEEK 1 (OCTOBER 1ST - OCTOBER 8TH).

This was my first time ever participating in Skytober!  Despite the daily prompts, I somehow managed to finish everything!  I kept them as sketches so that this would be feasible.  Here is the collection of the first week.

01 ABYSS: “I know it’s strange for your master to be looking out for us ... With all that is happening, I believe that it is best that we look out for each other, too.” TAPUSHEA, the overseeing goddess of the water, makes an unlikely alliance with the servant of her karmic opposite, The Leviathan.

02 BLOOM: Kidde adorns herself in blossoming attire as spring draws near.  She sips her tea in pure bliss as a gentle breeze passes in the air.

03 MANTA: “Your party Krill doesn’t have a thing on my singing manta! BEHOLD - The melody of DJ MANTA RAYE!”  Once close friends with Dj KRILLIN’, DJ Manta Raye stays as a strong opposing force with her singing Manta, LUXIS!

04 CAMPING: The Elders have decided to go camping, where the Valley twins attempt to tell a scary legend of those who feast on the people of Light ... INCLUDING ELDERS!  Miss Forest is not phased at all.

05 SHATTERING: “WITHIN YOUR HATE FOR THE WORLD COMES GREAT STRENGTH. CALL UPON ME, AND I WILL GRANT YOU THE TRUE THRONE YOU RIGHTEOUSLY DESERVE.”

06 BABY JELLYFISH: Tapushea’s arch angel enjoys time with her infant subjects.

07 SKY KIDS: “I’m sorry, Kidde.  I failed you.” Noye has come to rescue Kidde from Morvannah’s violent grasp, but he’s a bit too late.

08 TEA PARTY: As the sun bathes all within its amber hue, the children laugh and banter among the calming water at the beachside.  Tapushea’s joy manifests in the form of seashell blessings washing up upon the shore.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRICKERS OF THE FRICK RACE!!

We kick of 2024 with a comic I started back in FREAKING AUGUST-!! SOLANNE CONTINUUM presents "SUIKAWARI", based on the Japanese summer activity! Which - they are playing mildly incorrectly (person is supposed to be spun around until dizzy and they whack with a stick, NOT A DIVINE KATANA!).

Also, it's been a HOT minute since I've featured our beloved Valley Elders (ESPECIALLY ELDER-KUN ♥), but lo - another Husband appears forth! He's just trying to make up with Kidde for starting off on the wrong foot back in May www

Overall, despite the compounded focus/energy/interest issues, I managed to get this done. As a Host (read: creator), there is such an IMMENSE satisfaction taking a Paracosm scene out of my head and onto paper, and it always makes the comic-making toil worthwhile.

DAYS OF COLOR 2023.

When you're scheduled to have a date with one of your partners to celebrate Days of Color, but she was needed elsewhere, and instead your secret Mother has you bring in that MACHINE (who's taken your blood before and caused a violent stunt) who is also one of your soul-bound Fathers and thus you have to fly around with it while your peers stare at you wondering what the heck is that blue thing with you.

It's been a while since I've had a crossover event with others within my Paracosm! And with ULTRAKILL now becoming one of my major interests (and with V1 becoming a Husband ♥), this was perfect!! Don't worry, Kidde! You'll get your date with Azzarah soon enough!

⸻ ❗❗ CW: DEATH. ❗❗

On 5 SEPTEMBER, a beloved Sky player named VIOLETTA passed away due to a very, very long battle with leukemia. I had found out that she actually was following me on Instagram, and I felt super duper heartbroken that I never got the chance to know her or even reached out for anything .... but having read all of the comments on her death announcement post, she was a very loving, compassionate woman and mother who brought radiance with her wherever she went. I was a month late making this (due to energy slumps + focus issues, mental illness n' PCOS sure is fun), but I just COULD NOT go without making some sort of tribute for her ......

TELFOSO, my beloved little goddess, takes in this Child of Light into her sacred Heaven, for it's genuine souls like her who are guaranteed a place in it (or whatever one believes awaits us.).

Rest in peace, Miss Violetta. 🎔 With much love from Telfoso and I.

HAPPY 4 YEARS OF SKY: CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT!

The disco lights are ON! The stage is LIT! Everyone's dancin' and prancin' in the office! Even Telfoso adorns herself in the iconic teal hue as she twirls around on the dance floor! Baybei attempts to mimic her moves, and Moro busts a few moves, too!

While I normally don't make art like this, Sky means too much to me, to where it is literally a hemisphere of Brainne. While I've only been around for half of its total life, it has brought me countless memories, cherished friendships, helped me build a genuine and meaningful following, and made me realize two little stars of my own who shall be born someday. The event itself was a BLAST, I had a lot of fun jamming to the music conch shell with friends and my older sibling, and the vibes were truly pristine. They've just been knocking it off the ballpark with the events this year-!!

Here's to another year of greatness and many more! ♥

SKY HUEVEMBER 2022 FASHION SHOW ILLUSTRATION SERIES.

LET'S GET DOLLED UP. FITS FOR THE MORTALS N' GODDESSES. YOU'RE HIGH SOCIETY, BABY. ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET. AND MAKE IT COLORFUL.

After having spent all of October dropping lots of Paracosm lore, my friend kindly threatened me via gun sticker to let myself have fun for 2022's Sky Huevember, thus it was a fashion show!!! This was mostly traditional art, with the backdrops being done or enhanced digitally.

These are all my Sky characters; each of their outfits are based on fits found on Pinterest and inspired by different aspects of Sky, tailored to each character.

!! CW: DEATH MENTION !!

A month ago, a well-known Sky player on Instagram named Violetta (@/violetta_in_sky) passed away due to a long battle with leukemia. I learned that she had been one of my Instagram followers, and I'm saddened that I never had gotten to know her ... Reading the comments on her death announcement, she was a kind soul, who radiated light and warmth everywhere she went.

Having touched my heart, I'm making this tribute for her. Telfoso, my little goddess, adorns Violetta with a halo.

Due to my phases and energy fluctuactions, it's taking longer than I want it to be, but at the very least, here is a WIP for Violetta. Rest in peace, beautiful child of Light. ♥

"I remember now."

From ARC III of my Paracosm's main storyline - THE LORD had been hunting for a small yet integral little goddess within SHAYAMIN's karmic pool - THE PRIMORDIAL MOTH. After having his servants gather potential candidates, the D. mantas that guard the entrance to SHAYAMIN itself (read: Heaven/Orbit) reveal that it was actually plain ol' Kidde all along ..... who would've thought that a nothing moth girl among thousands of others have been the one to walk the world before it even took shape?

This was actually made as a gallery icon for my DeviantArt, but it also makes for a nice way to illustrate such a paramount scene within the MCS!!

COMICS. They require SO MUCH energy and focus for me to see them through, but when I do, there is such a great, intense satisfaction as a creator reading through a Paracosm scene come to life, illustrated by my hands.

WIPs for a small 4-page comic centering around Suikawari, a Japanese summer activity involving watermelon smashing while blindfolded! Though, they're actually playing it incorrectly here, so I may create a follow-up at some point www
