Below are points I consider to be important regarding my muse and I hope they will be kept in mind during plotting/writing. Links to specific headcanon or divergence posts may be included in the below and I may add to this post in the future, as I go back over the manga or think about things further.

Note: filler arcs/chapters and the 100 Year Quest are not included as canon here.

A few months after Fairy Tail disbanded, she joined Blue Pegasus. She attended the FT revival to catch up with everyone, but ultimately she has stayed as a BP mage. She still keeps in regular contact with her FT friends of course.

Edolas is a trauma that is not going away any time soon. Along with some events in her childhood, Edolas has given her a myriad of issues to deal with. She gets anxiety and paranoia about being pulled away from her life/family again, she has trouble separating dreams and reality at times, imposter syndrome, she struggles with not feeling real and with disassociating. She has a level of separation anxiety and gets nightmares. Edolas was about survival, there are some things she cant forget (like seeing guildmates killed in front of her, and Erza Knightwalker hunting them all). Along with the bad, there was some good too, she misses the ones in Edolas that she had grown close to (Edo-Juvia in particular), and she feels there’s no one around her now (aside from Sica) that she can talk to about her whole experience.

The public does not know about Edolas or the truth behind her disappearance in X782. 

Her Takeover forms are a little different to canon and do not appear as skimpy little outfits, instead as bodysuits (like a fitted onesie ig). She has the forms of – tiger, wolf, eagle, bear, cat, dog, hare, swan. The souls of the animals are something she’s always aware of and they can influence her. Having stayed in her tiger form for too long once, she has developed pointed canines. Sometimes, she gets intrusive thoughts from the animal sides that she has to try ignore.

In her earlier years, she had a very happy childhood with her siblings and parents. The relationship between her parents and the wonderful home they had is a huge influence on Lisanna, it’s something she idealises and wishes for herself. She still has good memories of this time in her life and tries to hold onto them. The loss of her parents and the way she and her siblings had to leave the village is still something that hurts.

Nature is very important to her, she loves being outside and taking care of the environment. She’s really into recycling and upcycling.

She is big on touch as it is something she craves and finds natural, it helps to ground her in reality too. She is also very affectionate, but will tone herself down and do her best to respect the boundaries of others.

Tenrou – canon is a bit vague on the timeline, but to me, the S-class trials were a decent while after the Edolas arc. Lisanna, having just returned from a place where she couldn’t use magic for 2 years, would not have volunteered to be Juvia’s partner if it was so recent. She needed time to train up and get back to at least her previous skill level. On that note, the Juvia/Lisanna team up vs Erza…they lost because they were not in sync with each other and because Lisanna – seeing Erza in a fighting mood – was reminded too much of Knightwalker, it had nothing to do with ‘Juvia’s heart not being in it’.

Tartaros – She and Natsu were not naked in the prison cell together. No nudity. Meaning she also didn’t become naked in front of everyone when her magic disappeared a little while after.

During the war – She had returned to BP after FT was re-established as a guild, so when the war began, she was with BP. There were times where she was able to fight alongside her siblings, but also alongside her fellow BP members. On that note, while I haven’t decided if she was with BP when they teamed up with Sabertooth – the two guilds were not crucified by the enemy and were instead simply running low on magic when FT reinforcements turned up.

RP CANON: Lisanna - Joining Blue Pegasus

As mentioned across a few posts, during the one year of FT disbanding, Lisanna travelled a couple of months with Mira and did waitressing. But she didn’t feel content with that. She missed going on jobs, missed having guildmates, and wanted to get stronger following the Tartaros battles. In addition, her magic is one that Needs to be used regularly. The idea of joining another guild had crossed her mind, but it hadn’t been a wholly comfortable idea, as FT had been her family and joining another guild seemed like a betrayal of sorts. 

But after talking with a certain someone about not putting her life on hold for FT, Lisanna found the courage to join another guild, and that guild was Blue Pegasus.

Why? Here we go:

Laxus and the Raijinshuu had joined, the familiarity was a draw for Lisanna especially as she had spent quite a bit of time with them since her return from Edolas

The idea of training with Laxus (or at least pestering him for some training) called to her as well. While not normally the type to be focused on power, Lisanna has began to aim for more skill and strength, as she doesn’t want to be a burden on anyone or used against her siblings or guildmates ever again. Training with the raijinshuu was also appealing.

She is a very social person, and chatting with clients and getting to know people is something she enjoys, so BP is a good fit in that way

She also knows Jenny due to the connection to Mira, and is interested in fellow Takeover mages, so that was another draw.

Although not shy or unconfident in herself, she thought being in BP might help her grow and be more comfortable. She had a more tomboyish style and was also unused to any comments on her appearance, so she hoped BP would help her develop and adapt.

The guild isn’t all about hosting clients, she knew there would be a good balance for her with socialising and going on jobs. Her Takeovers can also be very useful for tracking and spying, and information gathering is a lowkey big part of BP operations.

Master Bob is the best ok

It took her a while to get used to how things were done in BP, but she adapted well, with her waitressing skills coming in handy too. Often, it’s hard to get truly close to the mages of the guild, as they all tended to have a certain persona protecting them, but there were a couple she became close to, and in the other cases, she didn’t mind the slight distance (because getting too close to people and having them leave/having to leave herself is painful).

i imagine lisanna gets all sorts of like, intrusive thoughts from her animal sides. like the random urge to bring a friend a dead thing. or she gets a spike of territorial anger if someone gets into ‘her’ space or takes something from in front of her. or she wants to bite or scratch something. and shes just no no no no dont do that

Some joint hcs this time ✨

1. Lisanna collects things and repurposes/upcycles them, and a while ago she used part of an old chandelier along with some pretty teacups to make a bird feeder for Levy, as she knows Levy really likes birds and enjoys watching them around the garden. Levy has taken the feeder with her to her place in Era.

2. Cooking is something that was kinda forced on Levy as a child and so it wasn’t something she enjoyed. Lucy is also not the best at cooking. Lisanna is a good cook and enjoys it, so sometimes she would help Levy and Lucy with their cooking/baking, she’s given them a few lessons and they’ve all had fun together with it.

3. Since Lisanna is quite good at fixing things, and Lucy’s apartment often needs maintenance due to Team Natsu but she doesn’t want to bring it up with the Landlady, Lisanna will do the repairs for her. After the work is done, Lucy treats Lis to either hot chocolate or ice cream and they hang out together, with Lucy painting Lisanna’s nails or giving her a small gift in thanks. Lis really likes having her nails done but isn’t very good at it herself so always adores what Lucy does.

4. Lucy and Levy did keep in contact with each other during the One Year, especially at the start. The contact did drift after the first couple of months as they both got busy and Lucy tried not to ‘bother’ Levy (though of course Levy did not see it as bothering At All), so by the time they came upon each other during the Avatar mess, it had been quite some time since they had last actually talked, but neither of them had hard feelings about it. Whenever they start talking, it’s like there’s been no time at all.

When she goes into a Full Body Take Over, her clothes usually get destroyed (or if her form is small enough, they slip off safely) and so she learnt a bit of Requip magic in order to always have some spare clothes with her. However, she isn’t the best at Requip (it takes her a bit more concentration and she needs a bit of time to get it done, not good for an instant change like it should be) and she also tends to forget its a thing she can do, and so in a pinch, she will go from Full Body to Partial take over, so she is in (mostly) human form but is fully covered.

Some points about Lisanna:

I would push the Edolas arc and Tenrou arcs out from each other a bit. Lisanna had No magic in Edolas and had to work for months at least to get back into it after she returned to Earthland, she would not have been ready to be Juvia’s partner or chain multiple takeovers if she had only been back a little while.

Her guildmark is on her thigh like Mira’s and has always been that way, unlike in canon where it’s seen on her arm pre-Edo.

After FT disbanded, she initially did some travelling with Mira (Elfman went off to do some manly training) and she worked as a waitress for a couple of months, but missed the fun of adventures and requests. She also missed having guildmates and wanted to work on getting stronger, so she decided to join a guild

She joined Blue Pegasus, as Laxus and the Raijinshuu had joined, so there was a bit of familiarity there (and she was hoping to get a chance to train with Laxus), plus it’s a more social kinda place and she loves talking to people. BP muses pls love us. She was in BP for 9 -10 months.

Her Takeover forms are not skimpy bikinis and there will be some slight adjustments and additions to the forms she has

Her magic also has some permanent effects and impacts on her, such as her having heightened senses and certain instincts, as well as a few physical changes.

From staying for an extended time in her Tigress takeover during the one year, she has now got more pointed canines. cute little fangsies tbh. and also her nails are incredibly strong and sharp

Edolas had a massive impact on her and it continues to affect her even though it has now been a couple of years, she was doing well enough but the war has brought a few issues back. She acts as if she’s fine though

She has rejoined FT because she loves them all (she keeps in contact with her BP friends) but does secretly wonder if she should have stayed with BP. She’s not sure what she wants to do with her life, but FT is not always the easiest place for her to be because of the impact Edolas had on her, even though she always seems happy to everyone else.

I kinda imagine her becoming a teacher or something later, she’d be so good 🥰

1. Wanting to catch up with what had been going on in Earthland while she had been gone, she tried to do some research as well as talking with people. Her ‘research’ was reading old newspapers and issues of Sorcerer Weekly (mostly Sorcerer Weekly because it has more pictures and was more entertaining). After the 7yr skip, she once more had to play catch up, and though she knows Sorcerer Weekly isn’t Fact, she still likes to read it even now.

2. She tries to be as good as Elfman at remembering details and things about people, and generally she’s quite good, but she’s better at being the friend that checks in all the time and makes sure they don’t feel alone or forgotten. Elfman would remember your birthday and send a card every year, but probably forget to talk to you the rest of the year unless you were around him, but Lisanna is more the opposite - she might forget your birthday but she’s dropping by for a visit or calling to check up every other week anyway.

3. Tbh her first real girl crush was Edo-Juvia 🥺 but she never let herself think of it too deeply and convinced herself it was just strong admiration and friendship.

1. She doesn’t like reading. She can’t focus for very long on it, even if she enjoys the story. She does, however, enjoy listening to someone reading and she also has a better chance of actually reading something if it’s got pictures. Whenever she’s had to study something, she typically asks Levy to make some simple and visual notes for her. Lis admires people who are big readers and always likes to hear about their favourite books and all that.

2. After she returned from Edolas, her habit for collecting things led her to have a large pile of old furniture and all sorts of random items, they filled up a whole room and outside shed too. She always said she was going to recycle, repurpose them or fix them up but she didn’t get much time to do that. The events of Tartaros destroyed everything, including the things she had saved and when she moved to join BP, she was wary of the same thing happening again, so she tried to curb her hoarding habit (but kinda failed). She just hates to throw things away or see others throw things away, she wants to find new life for things. She now tries to limit herself to a handful of ongoing projects only.

3. Aside from the light freckles across her nose, she also has a scattering of them along the tops of her shoulders and back of her neck, and she is frequently a little extra tanned there too.

lisanna is Very Good at identifying different plants, and she knows the different uses and meanings of them too. she also knows what’s safe to eat and where certain things grow.

when she was first learning, she did accidently direct a guildmate to pick some leaves from a plant and it turned out to be poison ivy

Lisanna likes to take naps in warm places, preferably outside in the sunshine, and she also feels more active and alert at dusk and the evening hours

before joining Blue Pegasus, Lisanna wasn’t particularly into fashion or makeup or anything like that. Sure, she liked to look nice and sometimes went for clothes with ribbons or ruffles, but in general she had a more ‘practical’ style and was well stocked on ‘basic’ items like plain tshirts.

but after joining and spending time with the members there, she gained more of an interest in different styles and in the use of accessories, becoming a bit more adventurous you might say and more skilled
