This isn't meant to call out anybody in particular. Whenever I post these things, it's not because I'm foaming at the mouth angry so much as I am just mildly annoyed because it's something that has been an issue multiple times now. Rant under the cut.

If you cannot handle the contents of my blogs, I highly advise against interacting with me. My blogs deal with violence. A lot of violence. Violence of various kinds. Including gore as a lot of my characters are killers. Horror movies are one of my special interests, especially the ultraviolent ones, there will be blood and guts. I make the presence of violence, gore, blood, and body horror clear on both my accounts.

Next, dealing with the religious aspects of my muses: Coyote is a Folk Catholic who disdains the church. They would be shunned by the church because of the saint they worship even if they worship peacefully and still believe in God and Jesus. This is something that is very real between worshipers of La Santa Muerte and the Catholic Church. As a result, it's a very real world criticism. I will admit this is something I should've been explicit with in my rules.

But The Warrens are literal demons who do not align with any version of Christianity as they are entirely made up by me. It may borrow from Christian mythology but a lot of stuff is of my own creation. They're all loudly blasphemous and say/do blasphemous things. Fausta grows up to be a cult leader in direct opposition to Catholicism due to things she experiences while living in a convent in her early-twenties. The writing is on the wall with that account, both in the characters themselves and in my rules.

This is a theme that is incredibly personal to me and I spent a lot of time being mad at myself for watering it down for tumblr. I'm tired of doing that and I don't want to do it anymore. While I respect the beliefs of others and am willing to be sensitive with the triggers of other people (so long as they aren't hateful), I also have my own beliefs and opinions. By following my blogs you are putting yourself in harms way if this is something that will upset you.

Again, I'm not calling out anybody specifically and it's never my intention to make anybody feel bad. I'm posting this because I need people to remember that they need to protect themselves from content that will upset them. The warnings are there, I've done my part to keep people safe. It's your own job to heed those warnings and know when something isn't for you. Thank you and sorry for the rant.

platforms  you’ve  used: I started off on Facebook messenger and email as a kid and then discovered tumblr RP. I’ve kind of dipped my toes into Discord but it’s not my favorite since the format gives me a sense of urgency. Tumblr’s always been more my of pace and vibe.

best  experience: Meeting Jar :) and Prism uwu. They’re both just the absolute sweetest and have been my friends for so long. Thanks, you two, for not locking me in The Sarcophagus even though I give off dangerous levels of radioactive activity and cause skin lesions. :) May our future hold more gay cowboys.

rp  pet  peeves  /  dealbreakers: Hoooo, guilt-tripping. I no longer have the patience so I just fuck off the second somebody makes me feel shitty. People misgendering Coyote, loudly assuming my OCs are straight, and people whitewashing their muses. It makes me go. . .Chimp Mode. :0

fluff,  angst,  or  smut: Angst seems to be the the current favorite. Would like fluff but I’m waiting for Coyote to get properly attached to somebody first. Don’t like forcing it. I can do smut on occasion though since Coyote is a very sexual being.

plots  or  memes: Memes are usually my go-to to kick things off. I’d like to plot more, but again talking to people stresses me out. That’s something I’m trying to work on though. I hate being a hermit and really would like to really get into some deeper threads as well as get to know people a lil better.

long  or  short  replies: My ass is incapable of keeping it short and I AM SO SORRY, YA’LL. I have a lot of fun doing long replies!

best  time  to  write: I hate it but I write the most later in the evening. There are flukes sometimes though and I’ll get stuff done in the afternoon.

Venting about silly stuff tbh. 

So I keep getting smut focused accounts following despite my rules, which is whatever at this point. If I’m not interested, I’m not going out of my way in any manner, besides blocking anything that makes me especially uncomfortable. What I’m more insulted by is that a lot of them seem to be under the impression that Coyote is a submissive :y.

Jokes aside though. A lot of them seem to be cishet male muses smutting with cishet women which is fine of course. Neither muns nor muses need to be LGBTQ+ in order to interact with me! I’ll never give anybody shit for it as somebody who has happily written M/F ships myself! It’s more the context of the types of the threads they almost exclusively do in tangent with the characters they write with. It’s almost a “Don’t make me tap the sign” moment: Coyote is not a woman. 

Again, I’m never opposed to either NSFW or romance threads. I know Coyote is a character who heavily embraces their own sexuality but please keep my comfort and Coyote’s gender in mind. This sort of thing keeps happening and I hate making “a thing” about it but then I just end up sitting on it and try to ignore it despite feeling bothered by it. It doesn’t feel good when people seem to disregard or not look at your rules. As somebody who has been in the RPC for almost a decade now, you get to a point where you’re just done being quiet about it. Bweh!

Hey, hey. Just posting this to get it out of my system because I've just been stewing on it the past few days and mulling over whether or not I wanted to say something. Long story short, a non-mutual responded to an open starter and misgendered the hell outta Coyote despite me referring to them as nothing but they/them in the starter and that my bio is only a few clicks away. Of course, as a trans person myself, this made me extremely uncomfortable.

I'm aware Coyote's FC is femme-presenting but isn't cisgender and I assume their faceclaim is what was went off of. Whether it was on purpose or not, I couldn't be the judge but not reading my information or deliberately misgendering my muse will result in a hard block. There should be no excuse when the information is readily available in two different forms. Nobody following me is guilty of this, of course, but I just needed to say something out loud about it so do forgive me for making a small stink about it.
