i like the idea of maul always sensing sidious within the force. he was around the guy for so long, with him being his only influence. so sidious' presence in the force for maul is near impossible to remove. for as long as sidious is alive maul will Know. can sense his presence clouding everything he does. can sense sidious watching even if he can't find maul. always watching. and it feeds into maul's paranoia. so in particular. for redemption au and after vader kills sidious (somehow the emperor- if we're pretending the sequels exist). the galaxy celebrates and maul just 🧍‍♂️
