Akashi Seijūrō birthday countdown ★ J-10 With Mayuzumi Chihiro and Shōta Higuchi

Higuchi was a 3rd year manager at Rakuzan, he joined Strky after graduating. He's a nightmare to draw because he only made a few appearances and he is never drawn with the same face, the hair, eyes and even eyebrows changed every time.

The drawing with Mayuzumi is not meant to be shippy (I'm focusing on friendship for this countdown) but you can interpret it however you want.

Akashi Seijūrō birthday countdown ★ J-11 With Hayama Kotarō and Shirogane Eiji

Lineart and flat colors for Rakuzan because i got tired of screentones but i don't have the time to do the shading.

Teiko and Rakuzan's head coaches are related, so I wonder if that's why Eiji Shirogane trusted Akashi for the captain role despite the fact that he was just a 1st year.

Akashi Seijūrō birthday countdown ★ J-16 With Murasakibara Atsushi and Atsuko

Congrats if you guessed that Murasakibara would be next one ! The pattern is a gradient of colors with their hair (yellow - green - blue - purple) which is also their order of appearance in the series. The second character is random because i couldn't find a good pattern, but the age thing someone suggested was a great idea and i'm sad i didn't had it before i start posting

Atsuko is the third manager at Teiko (the one who had a crush on Aomine)

Akashi Seijūrō birthday countdown ★ J-13 With Nijimura Shūzō and Tōru Sekiguchi

The one with Nijimura is inspired by the audio drama from season 3, Nijimura decided to introduce Akashi to after-school snacks.

Tōru is another bench player in the same year as Nijimura, he played as small forward.

And it's done ! I drew Akashi with every teammates he ever had, tomorrow i'll post my illustration for Vorpal Sword plushies and that will be the last of the countdown to his birthday. Then it'll be time for the birthday illustration !

Akashi Seijūrō birthday countdown ★ J-18 With Midorima Shintarō and Miki

I know Akashi isn't the type to let himself laugh freely like that but it's his birthday month so i want to draw him happy and Midorima has best friend privilege, he can make Akashi laugh.

Miki was a manager at Teiko and had like 3 panels of screentime + she appeared a few times in the novels and replace + manga (she was in love with Akashi)
