Recently, friend of mine, who is a professional make up artist told me that, each curlers’ have the different radius and if you think the curler isn’t fully curling the lashes, that means the radius of the curler and my eye is not fitting. She told me how I can measure my eye radius, then gave me a list of popular brands’ curlers and their radius. Unfortunately, my eyes radius is 25R, the nearest radius curler out there with a good pricing deal for me is the Shu Uemura’s curler (24.4R). For flat eyes, typical Asian eyes, usually have higher radius. Around 20-30R, super flat eyes are 31-40 even upto 45R. Rounded eyes are usually around 15-19Rs. 😎 My previous curler’s radius I measured is 19R, which is why it didn’t curling my lashes at all, and always poking my eye skin instead. Tried the new Shu Uemura, I can see only one attempt, it did catch all of my lashes and curled them successfully. Very satisfying result. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It would have been better if I knew the radius was important to find the suitable curler for my lashes.
