nikki had become a different person. she was more cautious, more guarded when it came to matters of her heart. and she didn't trust people as easily as she used to including her own sister. she always felt like she was left behind while brie always got everything. but there was one person that nikki knew she could trust and that was roman reigns. she didn't have any doubts when it came to him and she was sure that her sister didn't approve but did nikki care about what she thought? not anymore. nikki was at smackdown tonight, just days before wrestlemania and she knew roman was still going to be the champion. nikki sat down on the couch helping herself to some fruit while she watched roman pace back and forth. ❝ you know, sunday isn't going to get here any faster. besides you're still going to be the champion not like cody can beat you twice, right? ❞ nicole was being sarcastic of course. she knew cody wasn't going to beat roman either night but she was trying to make light of the situation. she noticed how stressed he was and all she wanted was to spend some time with him now that they had it.

nikki had been watching smackdown as of late and one particular individual had managed to catch her eye. he was vicious. he was dangerous. he was someone who didn't care what he did to others. and as of late, nikki had become the same. she was a changed person. she didn't care about noone. she didn't trust noone. it was all about nikki bella from now on. all nikki bella. all the time. she was intrigued. she was interested and she was going to make that a well known fact. if her sister knew what she was about to get herself into, she would try and stop her. but it was too bad that brie's opinion no longer mattered. her sister was dead to nikki. she was moving on. she was the only bella that mattered. only bella that existed. at least in her own world. since it had become the wwe draft, nikki was one of the guest that had been invited but she kept that under wraps. nobody needed to know. walking backstage with her fearless top and a fancy looking skirt to go along with it, her hair down messy curls gracing her features. she couldn't help but stop as soon as she spotted him. he looked a hot mess especially after what kevin and randy had just done but nikki wanted to introduce herself. it was a shame that he had company with him otherwise nikki would have made herself available to him especially for tonight.

nikki was having dinner with her boyfriend in her home, she had decided to cook for once. she had gotten all the recipes from her mom and brie had helped her too. she had wanted everything to be perfect for the man that she loved. of course he wasn't there yet and this gave her a lot more time to prepare everything and make sure there was no mistakes. nikki wasn't a born cook and most of the time she either went out or had take out. her busy schedule didn't give her a lot of time to do things. it was either wrestling or being the house real estate that she had been. but wrestling had taken a back seat lately because she was concentrating on other things. after a few more minutes, she heard the door bell and she figured he was here. turning off the stove, she quickly ran to the door to answer it and let her man in.

after a few weeks of arguments, nikki walking out on roman from whatever was the case of their fighting at that time, things were finally back to normal. roman was still sleeping but she found herself laying on his chest, him holding her in his arms like it always had been before all the unnecessary drama they had been having. after john, nikki didn't think she would be ever able to fall in love again the way she had. that she wouldn't find another man that would look at her with adoration, the way roman had and she loved him with all of her heart. she would never tell him that but fighting with him had brought tears to her eyes and broken her heart. she looked up at him, brushing one of his long black strands away from his face and kissing him on the cheek. ❝ i love you so much, babe. ❞ she whispered, smiling to herself before laying back on his chest, snuggling into him.

nikki stood in the ring, hands covering her face, tears in her eyes and staring at the man she loved with all of her heart. she couldn't believe that he had asked her the question she had been dying to hear. this was coming from the same man - who had said he would never get married and here he was, proposing to nikki bella. a proposal that would be remembered forever considering it was on the grandest stage of them all, in front of millions of people including nicole's family. she was so incredibly happy that she couldn't believe it still, that this was actually happening to her. she felt like she had been waiting forever for this. as soon as john grabbed her hand to place the diamond on her finger, she took a few seconds just to let all of this sink in, looking at how beautiful that ring looked on her finger. she pulled john up and immediately went to hug him and then kiss him as passionately she possibly could. this is how people felt like when they were marrying the true love of their lives.

i can give you kids. i can give you a husband. those words were repeating in nicole's head over and over again. and those had been the same words that had made her reconsider everything. she had ended things with john to be with dolph. she wasn't sure if it had been the right thing to do but she knew in heart that it had been. dolph had been her first real boyfriend for many years and their break up was one that nikki thought about every day. it was easy to forgive him because she loved him with all of her heart and he was her soulmate. ❝ my mom is really happy to see you again and she's glad we're back together. ❞ nikki had invited him over to her mom's house for dinner. her entire family had missed him and her mom had always loved him, always thought that nicole and dolph were meant to get married someday.

nikki had been there last night to watch her boyfriend win his football game. it was funny because before she met braeden, nikki had always been an philadelphia eagles fan first and foremost. but now that had all changed. she was a chiefs girl and she was proud of it too. just don't tell her twin sister or she would have something to say about it. ❝ you did so good last night, i'm so proud of you. ❞ sitting in the diner, nikki grabbed the menu and looked over at it before taking a sip of her wine. she really had been proud of her man because he had overcome his injury and he was probably the biggest face in the football world that everyone loved and adored. including herself. sometimes she just enjoyed looking at him and thinking just how lucky she had been to be with someone like him.
