it had been since November right? no that couldn’t be right... it was a hazy blur. a maelstrom of things and emotions that had mixed. little fragments of what could be considered memories of what COULD have happened but... nothing came to mind. not really. it was all just... a haze. his body was sore and warn. he had gone quiet and more isolated from his family as he had dealt with his illness locked away with some check ups from Julieta. no company had been allowed during this time. no one was even notified that the Prophet had gotten sick.

no that was the family’s secret. that an injury that not even Julieta’s magic could touch, had been inflicted on someone and caused them to go gravely ill.

no, no one could know. 

so when he finally had gotten well enough without hot flashes, without the mind numbing head aches, without wanting to wince when the sun hit his eyes. they started to allow company finally. so when Bruno came to his own bedroom door to open it due to him able to HEAR the foot steps out side of it he had stood frozen. staring at...
