The Narrator asks them , " you don't even realize your impact , do you ? "

Micah wonders if the Narrative is questioning them or you . Both . Its blank gaze has been on their own since they met each other in the Real Realm / the Dream Realm for the second time , so Micah soon believes that the inquiry is mainly towards them . The tension lingers deep between the pair . The stars above Micah and Arthur are gazing back at them with the universe holding its breath back . They stare at it , aching deeply , and glance away . " In what way , you mean ? . . . " It can mean anything . Everything . ( And Micah will still question their impacts . ) They want to believe their existence hold great worth — they are meant to be here , but the world will always make them see nothing in themself . They mean nothing . Still , Micah ever hopes they have been making only the kindest impacts in the end .

" I have only hoped most my impact has been nothing but love , " Micah whispers , wondering if it simply means in general . They shift in their place , twiddling their fingers . " Everyone had said that I meant nothing . Everyone then told me that I could be more . Now everyone is telling me that I will kill them all . I'm so unsure of what my impacts truly are . . . I - I - I don't really know what my existence means to the world anymore , Arthur . " Their eyes are closed , then , wet trails made on their cheeks . Micah furiously wipes their tears , teeth gritting . ( What are they to the universe ? A lover or a killer ? ) " I do not , but I am afraid the realization will ruin me if it tells me my impact is just a bound to a tragedy . "
