Harper helped the man dress, he could only smile as the creature struggled to stand on two legs. He looked smart in the blouse and trousers the blond man had brought him. But, to Harper, he did look out of place.

“These clothes are so.. St..sti..Sti… Mm..” 

“Restricting?”

He nodded his head, soft ocean swept hair bounced with the action. He reached out to the blue eyed man, and Harper took his hand, helping him steady himself on the sand.

“Will you be okay?”

Honoré nodded, his fingers lacing with Harper's, holding his hand tightly. “Yes, I.. I think so.” His hand was unnaturally cold but the man found he didn't mind as he slowly began to lead him away from the ocean.

He looked over his shoulder at the waves, and Harper stopped to let him stare. “I'll bring you back before nightfall.” The blond promised, squeezing his hand. Honoré nodded, taking a deep breath as he began to walk again.

“Where are you taking me again?”

Harper hummed as he led Honoré up some stone steps, no longer on the sand, but rather, stone. “A traveling market.” He responded, but that just left the creature of the sea more confused. Still, Honoré trusted him fully, clinging to him as he was led away from the water. 

As they drew closer, Harper was able to see the way the creature’s eyes lit up. The pinks of his eyes began to glow from his excitement, accenting the brown-green colours with a beautiful hue. “Careful now.” Harper warned nonetheless. “You have to be cautious, you don’t want anybody finding out.” And it was for Honoré’s safety. Harper knew of the cruelty of the human world.

Honoré shook his head, his eyes returning back to their normal colours as he stilled his head. The blond man gave him a nod as they approached the entrance to the market, marked by a beautifully decorated arch. 

His eyes were wide as he looked at every stall they approached, he couldn’t decide where he wanted to go first. Harper couldn’t help his smile at the man’s excitement, even if it was only present in the way his hand slightly shook within his. 

“What do you want to see first?”

“Uhm..” Honoré looked around again, spotting a nearby stall that was selling what seemed to be stained glass creations. “Sea glass?” Harper didn’t have the heart to tell him as he was tugged over to the stall. The shopkeeper greeted them but Honoré ignored her in favour of releasing Harper’s hand so he could inspect some of the pretty pieces.

Honoré picked up a small brooch, it was in the shape of a butterfly, made up of various blue coloured glass. “Do you like it?” Harper questioned, reaching into his back pocket without waiting for a response. But the creature nodded aggressively, clutching it closely in his hand, staring at it, mesmerized. 

“How much?”

“Thirty gold.” 

Harper handed over the money and then pocketed his wallet once more. “Want me to help you put it on?” Another nod. Harper gently took the brooch, popping open the pin. Honoré turned towards him, allowing him to pin the brooch to the collar of his blouse. “There we go, beautiful.”

“Thank you!”

Honoré looked around, spotting another stall, he darted off.

“Honoré!” 

Harper ran after him. Maybe the market wasn’t the best idea.

🌋 How often do they fight? Do they usually playfight or only serious fights? How do they make up to their s/o?

They have their fair share of fights, but they do their best to work it out. They definitely playfight a lot though, and whether that's j wrestling for the remote to pick a movie or some friendly spars, it usually ends up in giggles. That or Honoré gets all pouty at Harper 'shooting' at him.

💬 How do they express their love and affection? Verbally? Writing it down? Actions? Do they ever say/Have they ever said “I love you?”

They're both verbal about it, but Honoré struggles to say it more. It's not that he doesn't love Harper, it's that he's afraid he isn't good for Harper or that he'll leave him once he has no more use. A lot of Honoré's love shows in his actions and the way he says "I cherish you."

🧩 When was the moment that really clicked for them? Like “I’m in love with them” or “This is the person for me”?

I wrote in the other post the moment Honoré knew. But there was also the first time they seriously fought side by side in battle. They were already established, yeah. But there's something about somebody willing to put their life in your hands. And Honoré has kept that life safe since.

🧀 How sappy and cheesy are they? Do they go for cliched things or do they try to come up with original ideas to impress?

Honoré isn't super sure what he's doing, but he's trying his best. Sometimes he goes for cliches because its the first thing that comes up in research. He tries to come up with original ideas though.. Which is how they end up with a lot of burnt dinner dates that end up in takeout... Honoré isn't extremely cheesy or sappy, but sometimes he can get clingy..

Honoré is the first person to wave Harper off when he gets hurt, and then proceeds to do everything in his power to make sure Harper is healed and alright so I mean.. Anyways nurse(doctor) Honoré real.

They do get married!! Poly married with Darien lol. Honoré wears the wedding rings on a necklace around his neck. Their ceremony isn't massive or dramatic but it has their family and friends, a nice little event for them. Though the one Elysia throws for them is definitely.. Dramatic..

Honoré isn't the one to do that until Harper does and then NOTHING IS OFF THE TABLE, NO BITCHES SAFE NOW.

Honoré is busy as hell anyways so he doesn't spam, but he does note things throughout the day that he wants to tell Harper about and writes them all down when he can so he doesn't forget! Then he sends several big ass paragraphs lol

Honoré doesn't like Harper's habit of internalizing his feelings, especially if its in response to Honoré's feelings. Who is more down to earth?

Harper, absolutely. Are they affectionate in public? Is it too much?

Not supremely, mainly cause Honoré is a little bit shy about PDA and because Harper is an idol and all. How are they affectionate in private?

Very lovey dovey in private. Honoré is incredibly touchy once the public's eye is turned away. Cuddles, kisses, hugs, (redacted). Just the whole nine yards. How does your OC react to being broken up with?

"You.. Wish to bre.. bre.. you're.. leaving me..?" He's not surprised, not really, Honoré is a very broken man with a very messy past. He's hard to handle, and his problems are hard to face. Ah yes, love at first one night stand. So yeah, not friends for all that long before they get together. But they become best friends very quickly. Harper is the first person Honoré tells everything to. How did they become friends?

Honoré was tasked with collecting intel on AE and any other targets of interest in the area. This included Harper. Their meeting was a tad more purposeful than Honoré would like to admit. Who’s more ticklish?

Red Roses - an anniversary 

Honoré would be lying if he said he knew what to do for anniversaries. He'd only ever committed himself to one other person, but that relationship wasn't like this one. That relationship was transactional, based on what he could give and his use.

His relationship with Harper was resoundingly different. It wasn't based on use or expectation. But on a genuine need to want to love one another. It was an experience he couldn't quite place his finger on. And though he understood the importance of anniversaries, he understood not how to approach the subject.

He had asked Tesla, but her advice was rather useless. "Just bring him to the bar where you met him and reenact that first meeting!" Cute, in theory, he agreed. But given he'd only encountered Harper in order to obtain information from him. The idea left a sour taste in his mouth.

Honoré had also asked Einstein. Her advice was even worse. "Anniversaries aren't that important after a while, are they? He probably doesn't even know its coming up." Before she returned to her work. Honoré was determined not to let the importance of this date slip him by.

Yes, he was at a lost. His first idea was to cook a nice dinner, buy a pretty gift. But none of the shops he perused had anything that spoke to him. Nothing that could quantify his love for Harper. And every time he tried practicing the dish he wanted to cook the singer, he ended up burning it.

Maybe that was how he ended up here. Asleep on the kitchen floor covered in flour and who knows what else. "Babe?" Harper was crouched in front of him, light blue eyes wide with concern. Honoré could only groan as he sat up. His hip hurt.

"Hi, my moon.. What uh- mmm what time is it?"

Harper looked at his watch, then looked at the man in front of him on the ground. "It's four pm. You told me to come over?" Those words caused Honoré's head to snap up, he blinked at the time on the oven near him.

"What?!" The man scrambled to his feet, Harper having to move to avoid being knocked over. "Oh no.." The doctor groaned, bringing his hand up to cover his face. He'd slept through most of the day? He hadn't even gotten a gift!

The once feared peregrine, second in command, spy of the century. And he slept through most of his anniversary. Harper picked up the flowers he brought as he stood up straight, gently reaching out to pull Honoré's hand away from his face.

"Tesla kind of already told me you were planning a surprise and absolutely sucking at it.." Harper admitted with a reassuring smile as Honoré frowned at him. Of course Tesla hadn't been able to keep that information to herself...

"I ap... apo... apologise..." If he had the fox ears featured on his hood, Harper was sure they'd be flat down. He looked like a kicked fox, at least. Harper held out the flowers to his flour covered boyfriend, the man taking them tenderly. "They're beautiful.. Thank you.."

"I also already ordered takeout.. And started the shower for you."

"You're a ble.. bles... ah.. blessing."

Honoré set the flowers on the counter, pressing a kiss to Harper's cheek immediately afterwards. "I know I know. Heh, go clean up. I'll put a movie on." Harper smiled at the doctor's show of affection. At least he hadn't actually forgotten.

"Happy anniversary, my love."
