[PHOTOBOOTH] - All kinds of silly accessories have been laid out on a table, with a kamera and tripod set up to document all sorts of sea-side memories.

she walks up to father, plain and simple, expression blank as ever. in her hands are some gears, which she holds out as if she's a pitiful child who just ruined a toy. (maybe that is technically the case. but that aside)

"i keep breaking them," lynette says. "...i thought i could take a photo of you and lyney for the hotel."

...a brow twitches. what exactly is this that lynette has found? she's always heard of cats finding strange things and bringing them back to you proudly, but judging by lynette's tone... that wasn't precisely the case, here. in fact... were these simply... kamera parts? "hm...?"

keep breaking them, as in this was one of several? just the latest result of many attempts? who owned these kameras? an upward glance spies a set of tripods strewn about the beach, and a table stacked with various odds and ends that she can't quite make out at this distance. weight shifts; one arm folds into the other's elbow as that other arm reaches up to touch thumb to chin. kameras of decent quality weren't exactly cheap. someone else would come along and want answers eventually...

"just... leave them be. photos aren't necessary; the memories we make here are better seen through our own eyes than from behind a lens." and perhaps... it would be best that there was no evidence that members of the house of the hearth were the last people to use these kameras before several things were broken.

"these are just the cards one of your brothers gave me. I suspect he's been pawning off the ones he doesn't want... is tartaglia actually 'meta'?"

meta... so this card is... potentially self-aware? if that was the case, then childe would know by now that this genius invocation trading card game card of him has passed through many hands among the youth of the house of the hearth. "and your card is not 'meta', I take it?" she accepts the card being offered -- perhaps better to keep that one on her than childe's, if that was the case.

eyes narrow sharply. 'father'... from a stranger? perhaps the children had been a tad too forthcoming with sharing the title for who they answer to lately. would have to deal with that later...
