has been writing since they were young , honing their skills as they grew older . they have many essays , theses , and analyses lying around , but they keep their poetry under lock and key . only a handful of people have the privilege to read their poetry drafts without seojeong snatching them away as soon as possible .

WANTED CONNECTIONS

FAMILY seojeong and their mother seem to have always been at odds . seojeong's mother has threatened to disinherit seojeong a few times over the years , most recently when she learned that seojeong had broken their betrothal and married their late husband instead . though she's never followed through on her threat , the possibility of being cut off and replaced by one of their younger siblings still looms . haedam's family could also be interesting !

BROKEN BETROTHAL most likely to be another noble from joseon , but the seoks are both influential and wealthy , so it's possible she was going to be married to foreign nobility . seojeong did not like this arrangement at all , but she appreciates that it inspired her to marry the man she loves . so , in a strange way , she has a soft spot for this person , though the feeling may not be mutual .

LITERATI seojeong loves to read , to learn , and surround themself with like - minded people . this could go a number of different ways . maybe there could be someone who's , like , a student to them ? or a contemporary - slash - rival ? or someone who likes / dislikes their poetry but has no idea they're the author ?
