hc + Halloween (Laurie Strode)

When the DBD verse she doesn’t really have time to deal with her feelings on that date, and better yet for her it is never Halloween within the fog, there isn’t such a thing.

But in verses where she stays within the normal world? It is the worst time of the year for her, she can barley leave her home once costumes are starting to be sold in shops, she always worries one of them is actually a person. And on the night itself? She almost always bunkers down somewhere, be it her family basement with a gun her father was willing to lend her to help with the paranoia or when she’s older in a actual bunker she made for herself.

That fateful Halloween night was the last day she ever felt truly safe, it is when she lost any feeling of “home”, home is where one is safe and loved but for Laurie nowhere is safe, Halloween comes back every year to remind her of it.
