hmmm someone give me a plot where [a] and [b] are a couple and [a] is telling [b] about how excited they are to go on a trip and [b] is mostly just nodding along because you see [b] has a secret and that secret is that they are  immortal/god of some sort and they know [a]’s time on earth is running out.

also just throwing it out there that i’m really feeling:
a historical supernatural roleplay where two people who are very close ( couple be two people who are in love, a couple, or friends/siblings ) and [a] is or turns into a magical creature or wizard/witch and when [b] finds out ( or [a] tell’s them ) [b] kind of turns against them out of fear/superstition and everything is hella angsty!!!!!!!
opposites attract / exs still in love: a plot where she finds someone she can be herself with at a place like a bar. she keeps him hidden from her family and friends and socializes with his. no mixing. it works well for months and months and months (maybe a whole year, maybe they even got engaged at some point), but his compassion and understanding could only go for so long until he felt like he was being disrespected… especially when he saw no will to change things on her part. one day she gathers the courage to take him home thinking her family will be away, but they return earlier than expected and she chickens out. they invite him for dinner out of politeness, he says yes out of morbid curiosity. he sees a side of her he’s never seen before, painfully vague and compliant. he chose not to make a scene in front of her family, but he couldn’t let it slide the next day and it all culminated with all of me or none of me, you’re either ashamed of me or you’re not, i’m either in your life or i’m not. she apologies and says of course she wants him in er life, they spend the rest of the day/night together, but the next morning she goes back on her word. the two part ways, heartbroken. fast-forward a couple years and they meet again, all kids of feelings still present.
arranged marriages / modern royalty / enemies to lovers / pining: years ago, during a large party, he excused himself for a moment to catch some air and as he made his way to the large garden and entered the quiet maze she crashed into him, throwing them both onto the grass. she apologised and said she was running around playing hide and seek. he asked her if she didn't think she was too old for that. they didn't find each other funny. it wasn't a good first meeting. now they just found out they are to be married. on a superficial level they couldn't appear to be more different (the way they carry themselves, where they are from, how they socialize, their families, etc), but annoying as their first meeting was they still walked away with an underlying feeling that maybe, just maybe, their humour isn't so different after all. maybe one of them used to be married before?
high school reunion: maybe cheerleader x football captain, stereotypical hit couple with plenty of dramatic ups and downs but who still made a hell of a team but at some point one of them became less popular and/or everyone started turning on them for w/e reason and the other one gave into peer pressure and kind of abandoned them. it's been years but they were never able to forget each other.
one night stand / celebrities / fake relationships / enemies to lovers: they've been fake dating for months now, didn't care about each other at first and were both ok with doing it for publicity, but after an event things happen and during their supportable one night stand maybe one of them confesses that maybe they've started to develop feelings for the other. they would have gotten away with their the slip of the tongue too but oops! they are snowed in and now have no option but to process their feelings and be honest with each other.
celebs / opposites attract: they’ve been together for years but her family still says she likes him and not that she loves him, and his friends still think it’s something that’ll go away eventually. they are different, it’s true, but not as different as those around them think they are.  the press plays along too, seemingly forgetting he’s in a relationship and still implying he’s seeing people; pushing the narrative of a non-existent romance between her and a co-star. sometimes it feels like the whole world is against them for no apparent reason, but they’ve managed well... until recently. little things have been getting to both of them, and cracks begin to show, like the motion of the waves slowly but steadily corroding a large rock and breaking it down into sand.
