Why the fuck are 2000-09' kids nostalgia gatekeeping the sound of a mourning dove???? Like sure, I'm in that demographic but come on. It is a very nostalgic sound, yes, but mourning doves aren't extinct. They're quite abundant, actually. So like???? Don't say that generations after you "dOnT gEt iT" bc??? It's a bird call. Of a non extinct bird. Any kid near a forested or suburban area can hear the doves the exact same way you did. Are 2000's kids just that desperate to get nostalgic memories they're gatekeeping a bird??
