HC #2: Forcas

HEADCANON. it’s time to talk about nadia’s familiar forcas! 

forcas is a familiar that nadia found when he was a juvenile. he takes on the form of a black cat and green eyes. she found him in sleepy hollow when she was about 16, she hoped by taking him and caring for him that one day he would agree to sign a contract with her. when nadia met forcas for the first time he was on the run from other demons. what happened was forcas was accused of murdering his previous witch , which is a serious crime . however , he knew he was being framed so he was looking for clues to prove his innocence . nadia found him and teamed up with him to solve the mystery .

forcas usually calls nadia ‘bitch’ to her face and ‘my woman’ to strangers who talk to him or allies of nadia. he is very attached to her seeing as she did protect him and in return protective of her as well .

in the beginning forcas , claimed that he will never agree to sign a contract with her, as he had been hurt in his previous contract. yet he refused to leave her side or wander far without telling her. after gaining his innocence he did agree to a formal contract between them as her familiar .

forcas is a reincarnation of one of the knights of hell, known as furcas. when forcas becomes a full-fledged familiar he will be able to mentor nadia and display mastery in the following subjects: philosophy, astronomy, rhetoric, logic, chiromancy, and pyromancy.

nadia and forcas share a couple magical boosts between them which include: telepathy with each other, access to magic that comes from the underworld / hell, allow nadia to see what forcas can see, shared life force / energy, the ability for nadia to transform into an identical black cat like forcas .

in cat form , forcas’ abilities include: pyromancy, agility mastery, speed mastery. and he is quite proficient in biting and scratching!

forcas’ favorite hobbies are reading and sleeping ( especially in nadia’s bed or by her side ).

forcas can be quite hostile with other familiars due to his previous experience with his old master’s familiars . his previous master had 50-60 other familiars that were all competing for her attention . forcas was one of her newer familiars and was used as the scapegoat for the murder of his previous witch . it was actually one of her older familiars that had murdered her out of revenge for her neglect .
