cracks knuckles I'll tell you everything that happened there bc that was not the only bullshit that happened

It was like. The first ten minutes or so, right and we had all just gotten in our separate lines when the entire ceremony stops bc THERE'S A FIGHT ON STAGE RIGHT hang on thats. House left. Yeah i think so. IN THE DAMN FRONT ROWS. it was a pair of freshmen too which made me go "ugh freshmen" even more (i was like that even as a freshman) and i think its bc one of the girls saw the other girl with THE GUY S H E LIKED SO SHE DECIDED TO DRAG THE OTHER GIRL. Mind you, the graduation is at an arena where concerts are done so the graduates can see everything and i was in the back so i saw EVERYTHING.

And then the valedictorian. Oooooof. Self hating latino if I've ever seen one. The way he ranted and raved abt how "the school system is failing us" and "we cant do basic arithmetic" and "minorities shouldn't get more privilege" like. THIS DUDE WAS THE BIGGEST TEACHER'S PET. i had him for my honors econ class and he was like "i dont need to be here, im better than everyone in class" and i distinctly remember i said "then why haven't you fucking graduated before us yet dumbass" (the teacher scolded me a bit) i was just mad (it doesn't help that he's my friend's ex too. and he's dating the girl who is my enemy)

BASIC ARITHMETIC. THAT GOT ME CACKLING BC THIS GUY THOUGHT WE NEEDED IT SO BAD i can add but i dont need more than that in my damn job. "minorities shouldn't get privilege !!" yeah he almost got beat up at school the next day AND HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO APOLOGIZE TO THE ADMINISTRATORS (i heard him) (oh and the principal actually didnt allow him to continue with the speech during rehearsal, but i wasnt there bc i was doing tech >:3)

Uhhh what else. Oh yeah some guy proposed to his gf behind me (not like. Standing and with a ring it was quiet and they were in the row behind me) and she said no WKFKWKKG I DONT BLAME HER WE'RE AT A FUCKING GRADUATION HELLO ???

my old high school, wooooooof. I have so many stories. Like that one week that there were at least five fights a day!!! (Not even exaggerating.)

How do you feel seeing so many people loving your content? Honestly, you put a lot of work into it and one can def feel the dedication on what you write. Your smau always made me happy and giddy everytime it updated, it made me look forward to opening Tumblr everyday.

OOOOF THIS ONE WAS A QUESTION I HAD TO THINK FOR, i think that after a while there was more interaction and more people liking what i posted so it made me feel really happy <3 genuinely i started writing this smau not rlly thinking much about it, like if it reached a few people then yay !!! But now the masterlist is literally at 1k notes and still growing which is INSANE to me ! And i am so so so so SO thankful for everyone that has interacted and commented bc it just inspired me to keep going !!

ok I'll be so fr i LOVED writing for mc bc it didn't feel like. one sided yk? Personally in the game it feels one sided and like they aren't really answering you so this felt slightly more immersive at least to me. BUT IF NOT MC, i genuinely enjoyed writing for floyd he was so funny to write bc yes he's a silly guy tbh and it wasnt that hard ?? He acts like i do over text (although i would slip into my apostrophe and grammatically correct habits so that SUCKED), same with ruggie !! Only i put ruggie as someone rlly close to mc bc i just thought it'd be cute for ruggie and mc to be best friends since they're both broke and funny together

ok my least favorite had to be neige AND NOT FOR THE REASONS YOU THINK he's just a very soft and kind character, which is kinda difficult to write ? "but sol, what about kalim??" i could write in caps and it'd work for him, but neige was a bit harder, especially since he came in the later acts and his character was harder to get a grasp on

SO FOR THIS, its a lil more complicated bc a lot of the things the others say (like ihop) are things that mc has taught them BUT some singers include lady gaga, rihanna, britney spears, taylor swift, pitbull, and maybe a couple of songs here and there, like head over heels and a good handful of other songs

part of me believes that spotify in that world will hold out and be able to play SOME songs from this world (mc did NOT pay premium for no reason)

there are some games and media that are highly similar to mc's world (like minecraft, wotakoi, hell's kitchen, etc) so there's definitely that comparison EXCEPT they're named other things

honestly i wrote their personality out of spite for the ikemen game mc personalities (i love the ikemen games but. the mcs.) with MANY drops of the om mc and i just wanted someone that could contrast jamil yk ? Bc i feel that someone like that could DEFINITELY be a bit of a rollercoaster for jamil and yet he'd like the calmer moments, its a good balance that he'd be able to have :D especially since he doesn't have to worry about them trying to pry into his life, instead allowing him to drop his guard ykwim ?

OKAY SO overall, the entire series was inspired by the lack of smaus and i didnt see a jamil smau anywhere so i was like "why tf not, I'll make the first jamil smau" and the first two acts were obviously chapter 4 and 5 bc i had a lot to work with

HOWEVER chapter 6 wasnt the next thing bc i hate chapter 6 and also i didnt really have a lot of plans if i followed that ?? i only took ONE element from chapter 7 but the rest was mainly my idea <3 act three was actually heavily inspired by The Good Place (if you watch seasons 3 and 4, you'll be able to put the pieces together) and the actual last image was also heavily inspired by the final part of the third book to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (i wont get into details bc of the spoilers)
