Hi hi! I really like your writing! I was wondering if I could request regressor Aether with caregivers Diluc and Kaeya? Maybe something hurt/comfort if you are up to writing angst :3

The sun was too bright. Clothes too itchy. It was loud. Loud, itchy, bright - Aether was so tired of it all. The sun beating down on him, the hilichurls chanting and screaming, the grass itching against his back. Aether was so tired of the wilderness. Everything screamed at him to go back and find find his papa or dada; the world was too harsh for a baby who simply wanted to be loved.

Albeit his yearns (and small tears) Aether didn't turn back to head for his carers - no he couldn't. He had to keep moving and find his sister. It didn't matter if Aether's legs felt like jelly has he stepped back on to Liyue Harbor from Inazuma; nothing mattered until he found his sister.

Paimon steadied Aether as he stumbled on the dock, body adjusting to the steady world (and a world twice his size, he feels so smallsmallsmall). "Hey traveler! I think maybe we should take some downtime" Paimon's voice trailed off towards the end.

"No Pai'on can't, we gots to go Su'eru" Aether sniffled and shouldered off Paimons hold. Everything around him was rapidly growing, his head was fuzzing at the seams, and Paimon was being too caring.

Streets in Liyue were loud, they were loud and crowded and tootootootoo much. It was suffocating, Aether needed out. He needed out, he needed papa and dada Diluc and Kaeya.

"Hey goldie!" Hands lifted Aether up under his armpits, pulling him away from the crowd, the noise, the suffocating feeling. "It seems like I came at the right time, huh?" Kaeya stood in front of Aether, smiling up at the boy he held.

Carefully Kaeya shifted Aether onto his hip, moving them out of the crowd. "Hey Paimon, what are you guys doing here in Liyue?" As Aether lifted his head up to respond Kaeya quickly ruffled his hair while moving the boys head to his shoulder.

Paimon floated up to match Kaeya's height and grinned, "We just got back from Inazuma! The traveler had to fight the Raiden Shogun and we helped her and the Kamisato clan and so many others!" As Paimon went into stories of their time in Inazuma, Kaeya worked on settling her and Aether onto his horse, deciding that the boy would probably prefer the comfort of Mondstadt.

Kaeya's horse slowed to a stop in front of Dawn Winery, turning itself slightly so Kaeya could easily get Aether off its back. "There we go bud," Kaeya lifted Aether up and back on to his hip so he could easily hitch his horse up to a post, "are you excited to see papa sunflower?"

At the mention of Diluc Aether excitedly nodded and tapped Kaeya's chest with his palm, "Papa! Hurry, hurry!!" A grin had graced the boys face as he spoke, already looking up at the porch steps. Flowers that the boy had planted by the stairs the last time he was here (the last time he regressed..) were already blooming. Had it been that long?

The porch stairs creaked as Kaeya stepped up them, walking slowly so Aether could look at the flowers and pillars (why did baby Aether always love the pillars). As the two approached the door Aether excitedly leaned over - almost toppling - to knock on the door. "Woah there sunflower! Lets not fall out of dada's hold, kay?"

Aether looked up at Kaeya, big puppy eyes staring at him as if he was going to cry. "Sorryyy, was e'cited to see papa!" Aether's voice rose a little at the end of his apology covering the soft squeak of the front door opening.

"Oh my, my pumpkin has come to visit!" Diluc watched as Aether excited leaned over and reached out to him. A grin blessing his face, he hadn't seen his papa and dada in so long! It felt like eons since they were able to see each other - partially due to Paimon and Aether being locked away in Inazuma and partially due to Aether shoving his regression away.

Now that the blond was wrapped in his papa's arms he could not remember why he ever shoved the fuzzy feeling away. Deep within his subconscious though Aether knew there was a reason, of course he did. Every day he had to remind himself of it so he would keep up the act; he had to keep shoving it away (for the betterment of those around him).

Diluc squeezed Aether's cheeks, dragging the boy out of his own head. "Hey pumpkin, do you want juice or milk?" The question was spoken softly, almost as if Diluc was afraid of breaking the kid with his voice. Each option was resembled with different colored cards in Diluc's hands, an option for if he was nonverbal at the moment (he was, Aether always loved how his carers knew him so well).

Juice was soon brought to Aether and Kaeya dropped down next to boy, "Now what are we playing bud! We have stuffies and we have blocks?" A bag of blocks sat in front of Aether along with a small collection of the stuffed animals that he kept in Dawn Winery's spare room.

Quickly Aether grabbed a stuffed animal and forced their paws into his hands so he could make the animal pick up and stack blocks. "Ooo Mr. Hops is building!" Diluc leaned over the couch and smiled, "what is being built?" Aether looked up and grinned before putting a finger in front of his lips and mouthing 'secret' at both boys.

With that, the three spent the rest of the day running around and playing. Aether 'forcing' (it was simple puppy eyes, the brothers Cannot resist them) Diluc to give him a piggyback ride, and Kaeya helping him hide grapes they snuck from the vines. <3

[Joint] Baizhu and Zhongli Caregiving Headcannons

Request !

Both of them naturally fell into two different yet complimentary roles when caregiving together!

Baizhu tended to heed more on the side of rules and making sure everything went in tiptop order while Zhongli didn’t have much of a mind how things went.

Of course each would do their best to not impose on each others way - so there was originally some backfire.

Baizhu made a habit of always making sure their kid had eaten at least most of the veggies and fruits put on their plate. He was a doctor of course he’s going to make sure this happens!

Zhongli on the other hand did not quite care as long as their regressor ate decently. So their regressor ended up confused at the beginning and was unsure of whether they could or couldn’t get away with finishing the plate.

In the end Zhongli caved cause he knows Baizhu cares about health more than he does (he never had a need to before, he was an archon!)

Play was also very different with both men, Zhongli would go with whatever you wanted to do albeit it had to be safe while Baizhu usually always made sure he had a bit of sway.

“Love it’s raining, why don’t we play inside?” Baizhu sighed as he watched your cheeks puff out. “I know you think puddles are so fun but they’ll always be there when the rain ends.”

“I don’t see why we can’t just bundle them up well and take precautions.”

“Zhongli. They’re 4..we’ll have to fight a four year old to get a coat on them I don’t want to do that.”

Once they both got in the groove of caregiving together things began to run smoothly. Both men learned when to bite their tongues for the sake of their happy regressor and hey, it wouldn’t be the end of Liyue.

Room decorating was always fun with both of them for their regressor as they could watch both their parents try and beat the other to hang something up high or assemble the bed frame. It was goofy and oh so reoccuring (they really need to purchase stuff from someone new-)

Hi hi! Not a request but I have come to ramble about a fic idea thingy.

Mkay so regressor Childe (Because I can’t seem to get him out of my head these past couple days), who involuntarily regresses and doesn’t know what agere is or that’s what he’s even doing.

Meeting Zhongli and really starting to bond with him, maybe accidentally slipping without realizing it. And of course Zhongli starts to pick of the pieces based off of his behaviors but doesn’t say anything out right. Just kind of directs Childe softly to make sure he doesn’t get hurt but nothing more than that, assuming that Childe will come talk to him about it later. Nothing ever happens so he lets it go.

And it isn’t until a while later that Childe meets Xiao, who’s regressed with Zhongli taking care of him, and the harbinger gets so confused because one: random pang of jealously when Zhongli treats the adeptis as an actual child.

And two, because when he asks why Xiao is acting ‘like a baby,’ his tone one of mockery to hide his but genuine curiosity because of a feeling he can’t quite place, he gets the dirtiest look from Zhongli who just says, “He’s small. You of all people should know to be kinder.” And he just- doesn’t know that and now feels really bad but can’t ask because clearly Zhongli is angry at him.

I don’t know, just agere angst plus a sprinkling of miscommunication. I would love to hear if you have any ideas or comments (not forced to of course :3)

I don't have many thoughts (mainly because I don't care for Zhongli </3 never got into his character but he is pretty!!)

I love the idea of Childe starting to slowly slip at this parental figure being angry at him (he doesn't realize what's happening) so he just sits off to the side trying to hide the fact that he's crying. Zhongli at some point finds him and somehow (maybe in his fit of tears?) Childe tells Zhongli that he doesn't know what's happening and he's jealous of Xiao <3

Flip 4ggravate Headcannons!

So First living situation! I believe that Tighnari visits often but he can’t stay in the city due to his job as a forest ranger.

Obviously Kaveh and Al Haitham live together just like in canon, and Cyno is often out and about but when he does have down time he stays with Tighnari so he doesn’t get lonely but will occasionally room with Kaveh and Al Haitham

They try and get together frequently but its difficult with everyone having such busy schedules

When they do get together it’s for around a week!! They typically rent out a small home in the forest away from everyone so they can just be themselves

Cyno is usually the first one to drop due to his minimal amount of free time

Kaveh adores watching over regressed Cyno, the two play a lot of card games and watch animals go about their lives

Al Haitham tends to bring along a little bit of work due to not wanting to deal with falling behind

This almost always leads to him slipping next <\3

Tighnari and Al Haitham always cook together whenever he’s small, Al Haitham likes to help by carrying ingredients and and utensils to and fro

Whenever dinner is finally done typically Cyno is already coming back to his big headspace, he doesn’t like staying small for too long as it feels way too vulnerable for him

Cyno will always slip in small bursts on these trips, dropping fast but for small moments

Plus it takes Tighnari a bit to cook dinner with a toddler following him around and trying to help

By the time dinner is done Kaveh is settled in to his own headspace and dragging Al Haitham around to play games

While Cyno and Tighnari clean up from dinner typically the two kids are in the living room and building a tower of blocks - Al Haitham stacking them without care and Kaveh bickering with him in broken sentences about infrastructure.

The four always end up cuddled together, Tighnari slowly slipping down as they watch a movie or listen to Al Haitham read if he is up to it.

So, at first all of them were so weary because they didn’t know who they could trust with the information.

I headcannon that all but Tighnari are flips, he’s just solely a caregiver (he’s tried regressing before but it just doesn’t come naturally to him and he doesn’t like how vulnerable it makes him)

Kaveh was the first to be found out by their group. He got Incredibly stressed out due to a project and his headspace just crushed him.

Cyno discovered Kaveh cause the four were supposed to be going to lunch together and he drew the short straw.

Discovering Kavehs regression was what drew the group further together and helped them open up more to one another !!

Caregiver Childe!

No not just because he is one of your favorites!

Childe would be a very fun and non-strict caregiver which is something you would enjoy and find comfort in due to also being a very fun-loving person. He would always find a way to make the most boring things fun such as cleaning play areas or running errands. When going to bed he will always tuck you in tight and push the covers slightly under your body before beginning to read stories!

He always makes sure to stay with you until you fall asleep, and even afterwards if it's requested of him! Whenever Childe has to go on Fatui missions he always makes sure to bring back souvenirs for you and tell you fun child-friendly versions of his trip!

Mealtimes with Childe are always fun, he tends to be a mess in the kitchen, but everything always turns out extremely well! You tend to toddle behind and hand him ingredients or utensils to fix up meals. The best part about it is that he always makes your favorite meal but in silly shapes and designs!

Ooo okay these two are so silly, I feel like Tighnari was natural at filling the role of a carer! Due to his knowledge of looking out for people medically wise, especially kids cause of Collei, all he needed was to learn what regression was.

Once Tighnari had learned what he needed to the role was easy to fill. He already knew and adored Cyno so this was as simple as pie for the man. Tighnari easily gathered kids toys and utensils, learnt Cynos preferences and altered everything to them. Why wouldn’t he do everything he could for Cyno?

He just wants a life of leisure without having to worry too much about leadership, bro just wants someone else to lead and what better than following Kaveh around all day as his teddy bear hangs by his side?

Alhaitham would just watch Kaveh do chores and hand him things, Kaveh would let him help out a little by handing him little things and saying, “you know where this goes?” And watch as Alhaitham gets SO excited cause of course he does! Kaveh turns daily chores into a comfy little game for his kiddo <3

Lynette loves being called Blossom and Lady Bug or just Bug when she's regressed! I feel like she always liked flowers and 'fancy' bugs like butterflies/lady bugs/moths so those two nicknames connect with her and make her happy!

14. what kind of snacks/drinks do they gravitate towards when regressed?

I think Lynette would gravitate towards more bland foods/drinks because flavors can become very overwhelming for her when she is regressed (autistic Lynette believer here), She'd prefer things like crackers, lettuce - not salad, she wants to pull the leaf off the head, and pudding. Occasionally Lynette will allow peanut butter on her crackers for protein but she has to be the one to put it on there.

19. what kind of things do I associate with their regression?

I associate the academia aesthetic with Lynette's regression (books, ponds, muted colors, 'big kid' games like chess/checkers/scrabble). The transition of summer into fall (weirdly specific but yeah), hair bows and clips but the ones like butterflies and flowers. And finally, scrapbooks and flower pressing :)

I never talk about regressed Lynette so two silly things I thought of: I picture her to be like an older kid regressor, like around 6-10 but she still uses stuff like teethers because she has a bad habit of chewing on her fingers. Also she has definitely tried to teach a regressed Lyney chess (he got bored and started flicking the pieces into her lap)

They both pretend to be knights or whimsical creatures like dragons! Kaeya typically always takes the lead since he regresses a bit older than Diluc. One of them will always hunt down the toy swords or dress-up wings and drag them back to the room.

Kaeya will take up the sword and help Diluc slip into the wings before the red-head takes off running and Kaeya chases him swinging the sword. Adelinde will always have to remind them to be careful and not run into the other maids, they just get too caught up in playing!

my name is lagoon, I regress from 1-4 years old, i’m a virgo(aug 24th). I mostly regress around bedtime so I don’t really do much aside from snuggle with stuffies, watch cartoons, scroll on my phone, and maybe read a children’s book or color if i’m feeling big enough.

i’m mostly non/semi verbal, usually just sleepy and giggly or wanting cuddled and babied. I don’t do good with loud noises or brighter things, most of the time I lean towards softer “sad beige baby” colors or muted pastels because they're easier on my eyes when small.

Freminet is a very quiet person and would understand if you can’t or don’t want to talk/babble! He would love to read or color with you and would happily snuggle with you and your stuffies!

If you’re not big enough to read on your own Freminet would help you choose a book and gather some of your stuffies and you around in a circle and have “reading time” with you! He also always keeps the lights dimmed so they don’t hurt your eyes - it’s also a pro for him since it reminds him of the depths of fontaines seas.

Fremi has all of your favorite cartoons saved in his watchlists on streaming platforms so it’s easy to get to them and turn them on! He also has a small wheel in case you hit decision paralysis on deciding which show to watch.

Bedtime with him is so comfy, he stacks all of your stuffies around and dims all the lights (except a nightlight if you need/want one <3) and tucks the sheets a bit under you so you’re snug as a bug :)

CG! Diluc and Regressor! Albedo

Note: I haven’t met Albedo yet in genshin so I apologize if he’s out of character ! I just read up on him for this (he seems so silly)

Albedo was stressed beyond belief, he usually didn’t come down to Mondstadt because of all the people - usually only traveling down when few people would be around such as the evening or dead of night.

Yet today was different. He decided that for once he’d go down and meet with Sucrose and his other alchemical colleagues; they were all lovely friends to him and understood his reclusive reasons.

A few days prior while Sucrose was up running around with him on Dragonspine she had mentioned how there was going to be a small get together with all the local alchemist to discuss their progress and share insights.

How could he miss that!?

So now, Albedo is sitting at a corner booth in the winery, feeling as if all his nerves were on fire. Social interaction was probably worse than he remembers. What do people normally say? How do they correctly drink? Is there a wrong way to? How does it feel like Razor of all people understands humans more than he does.

Thoughts piled on top of each other leaving Albedo overwhelmed from his own mind - alchemy made sense. You simply had to place liquids and objects correctly together, follow a clear cut path, and you’ll get your desired response.

People are unpredictable. There’s intricacies upon intricacies that don’t add up and they’ll always misunderstand something. So he avoids people who he cannot predict.

“It’s been lovely, but I fear I must go. Sucrose, if something pops up I need to know do you mind passing along the message?” Albedo slid out of the booth as he spoke, carefully dusting off his clothes - people did that, right?

“Of course! I’ll see you on Dragonspine soon, okay?” Sucrose smiled, her smile was always so warm. It reminded albedo of the potions he mixes.

Diluc had watched from the bar, carefully drying the glasses he had washed. Normally he people watched to make sure drunken guests didn’t cause ruckus but today there was someone new.

Albedo was down off the snow covered mountain and shaking, the boy never shook even in the sheer cold, he was always perfectly bundled and near a fire yet here he seemed like a leaf. Something was off and Diluc had a bitter taste; he watches over his guests despite how little he knew of them.

“Take over the bar for me will ya?” Diluc tossed a towel over his shoulder and sat the keys down on the counter for his number two to take. “I got an issue to resolve.” With that Diluc was off, quickly following behind Albedo.

Mondstadt in the moment felt humongous to Albedo, the roads twist and turned leading for his head to pound and fog. He couldn’t remember which way led to the gates and at this point he was about to figure out how to scale the walls.

Albedo just wanted out. He wanted to tranquility of snow, fireplaces, and mitten covered hands. Those were all so comforting to Albedo, it felt like home - the only home he truly had.

Crumpling, Albedo grabbed his head trying to force the fog to clear so he could remember Mondstadt simple U-shape layout. “Hey, ‘Bedo is everything okay?” With caution Albedo looked up, trying to will his voice to speak to the person and confirm everything was totally fine.

Diluc. Albedo had heard of him a few times, he knew the man was kind but didn’t go out of his way to interact with people all that much. Were they the same? Both preferring isolation to the complexity of people.

That didn’t seem right as right now the red head was crouched in front of him, looking too comforting for someone who didn’t like people. Maybe the fog was the cause of this. Why was he so foggy?

“Diluc? Where’s..gates. Need t’a go home.” Albedos words were spaced out and slurred but he got the message across. Later he could question why he couldn’t seem to speak right, later he would overthink this communication block, right now he just needed tranquility.

“I don’t think I can let you go home buddy..you seem a little spacey and I’d rather not let us lose you to the cold.” Diluc held out his hand and did his best to force a small smile. He wasn’t the best at comfort, having always been around Adelinde who knew him and all his brash ways. Right now though, Diluc needed to be of comfort. He could tell what was going on in Albedos head, he’d gone through it himself so many times.

The first is always scary if you don’t know what’s happening.

Albedo carefully took Dilucs hand. Neither knew how things would go, neither were sure if everything would be okay but for now Albedo had Diluc to help him.

Diluc had carried Albedo back to the winery on his hip, at first the blonde had tried to walk by himself yet after nearly eating gravel a few times Diluc calmly explained how it it was simply too dangerous.

Now, both men were back at the winery and Diluc was left to fret over the boy (and his rash decision making). “Hey ‘Bedo, is there anything that will make you more comfortable here?” Diluc washed out a small cup with a lid, unsure of how old Albedo currently was - and if he was even fully regressed right now.

Speaking of, Albedo sat on the couch in the next room over lightly chewing on his thumb. The world had seemed to have gotten bigger in mere moments, at first he could have handled it but now since feeling so. Safe? Comfortable? What was the word - regardless, due to Diluc watching over him the world had expanded.

Suddenly Diluc was in front of Albedo, holding a lidded cup with a straw, “Hey buddy, let’s get a drink and stop chewing on that thumb okay?” Albedo hummed and reached out for the cup, gently holding on to it with both his hands. It was cold, something that comforted him and reminded Albedo of home.

Both boys worked in silence, albedo trying to make sense of everything while Diluc tore open a package and tugged out a matching pacifier and teether - he wasn’t sure which would be preferred .

When offered a choice between the two, Albedo seemed to contemplate before reaching out and carefully grabbing the pacifier. Almost as if there was a wrong choice.

“Oo, I enjoy those as well when I’m like you.” Diluc reached out and raked his fingers through Albedos hair, careful to not mess up the boys hairstyle. “Now, I’m gonna offer you three choices just hold up a finger for the first, and so on okay?”

Albedo nodded, his fingers intertwining and tugging on each other. Multiple choice, he enjoyed questions like those it was easy to rule out which was correct.

“Okay, which would you like to do. One: we can watch a show, two: I can read you a story, three: we can take a nap.” Diluc held up a finger with each one, helping Albedo keep track of which one was which.

The question was mulled over by the boy before he held up two fingers then added a third. “Re’ed then nap?” The words came out slightly muffled due to the pacifier but Diluc was able to deduce them.

“We can do that kiddo, cmon let’s go find a story.” Diluc crouched down, counting to three before he lifted Albedo into his arms. “Wanna play multiple choice for the story too kid?” With that both of them were off to the mini library that was was kept at the far end of the manor.
