Omg, the fictional adventure series based on Hector's journals somehow predicting with an uncanny amount of precision his getting together with Darryl and their dynamic although in the books it's portrayed slightly different bc of the much more likable personality of the protag

Not sure what's funnier - if Hector knew the series and how the story developed before getting together with Darryl or if they only learned of those story plots after getting together

#'hector' the charming adventurer meets 'darryl' the femme fatale working for the ''bad guys''#or being in charge of them even #i was briefly thinking about them having swapped roles in the books #like personality wise. but then you get into Bad territory real fast and i dont like that #so. same/similar personality except they're maybe both a bit more flirty lmao #dumb cheesy bar scene in which book darryl is already there #and book hector rocks up like 'hello ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) can I buy you a drink'#you know like your typical snarky adventurer flirting with people he should not be flirting with #lady interest blows him off but he's pretty persistent #so she gives in and decides he doesn't suck so much actually #although those tropes also suck sometimes #cause it would be MUCH sexier if he'd just accept her no and leave #and then she calls him later or something. saying ok fine let's get to know each other #naturally it all starts with Tension while fighting each other during Adventures #i'm very much rambling at this point #hector messerli #darryl murphey
