going 2 school for character design and generalized game art was a mistake..... now every time i see a design or how a design was executed in a game i have way too many thoughts
#personal#'just enjoy it reese it's not that deep' i am TRYING but aaa games make me feel violent frequently#like i know that the pokemon company has more than enough funds to make the human models in scarlet/violet look half decent. the rest of the#game looks very pretty and true 2 both the spirit of pokemon and the general art style#the people in it make me want to bite an electrical wire that is plugged into the wall <- guy who is heavily exaggerating their dislike#i hate knowing how to make this kind of stuff. it's a curse. it literally wouldve been easier and less time intensive to stick to the style#shown in the character art i dont understand..... like that shits gonna take fewer polys (tho it might not be enough to make a huge differen#ce). and i just want to restate i am so excited for scarlet and violet they look very fun :) my three years of college have unfortunately#made me hyperaware of game art. i have thoughts about games constantly ! cant help it at this point !
