alright so I think most of us agree on tintin being something of a polyglot since it's not realistic to expect everyone in the tintin universe to be fluent in french/english

and tintin is canonically a chatty drunk, either talking nonstop as he's about to be executed in the broken ear or singing along with the captain in the crab with golden claws

so I'd like to suggest the theory that whenever tintin is drunk, he ends up combining all the languages he knows until he's using like five different ones in a single sentence and no one has any idea what he's saying
