i find it weird how people fantasize BPD if you don’t know what im talking about im talking about the stupid yandere shit on this website murdeing for love kidnapping abuse and r*pe are not cute and shouldn’t be used as a coping mechanism like that one jade blood girl is a yandere but like maybe stop fantasizing her by saying “oh she has BPD” i doubt she does i dont even think the trolls can have mental illnesses or disorders but I wouldnt be surprised like im ok with headcanons but can we stop saying “UwU im a yandere because i have BPD OwO” like yandere behavior isn’t cute and you should seek a therapy if you think kidnapping and abusing someone to love you is cute or is an ok coping mechanism like imagine mocking people with BPD by calling yourself a yandere that’s so cringe
Mental illness on fiction and real life are separate things, yes. Worse is that they have to corelate these mental disabilities with anime tropes, especially when it is not mentioned or implied in canon. If people like that think it is okay to do it IRL, then they need to seek help from therapists, doctors, and police. I would also say the reason it makes that particular jadeblood to do those things is because she is a woman and lesbian. If it was a male, they would be upset. Even if he was gay, they still wouldn't allow it. If it's a female doing it on a male, it can be miffed, but often seen as a comedy or they would get together in the end despite all her actions. But if it's a female that likes another girl, it gets a pass. Women doing bad stuff these days often get no repercussions. Sometimes they get forgiven because they are seen as misunderstood or didn't mean to do it. We see this in the new She-Ra, Vriska and Terezi, and now with that Hiveswap character. I remember people hated on Eridan because of the yandere trope during that fight with Sollux. However, in context, it was never about romance to begin with. Yes he wanted Feferi with him, but not just out of love. It's also out of desperation to LIVE because of the threat Bec Noir has over the trolls. He didn't want to die and believed that if he join his side, they would be spared. He never had told anyone this, likely because they would flip out as well. Eridan also still believed in the caste blood system, and think that he and Feferi should be the only ones allowed. It made him forget briefly about his other friends like Karkat and Kanaya. His fear of dying made him take the action that he did, which ironically became a good thing to help move the timeline forward. It's a strange double standards that is present on the Internet, pop culture media, and sometimes real life as well. Men do a crime, they get the usual sentence or they want to punish him worse than death. Women do a crime, they get a slap on the wrist, news outlets waterdown her actions, or cheered for feminist activism.
