             ♕           Let the music play…

☢     to have their car break down in an unfamiliar part of town, and our muses are lost.
Chris ✗ Yuzi       She couldn’t help it, feeling lightly suspicious, watching from inside the car while Christopher tried to fix the car, though, looking at it in confusion would be more fitting, he didn’t look like he had an actual clue, that much even she could tell, no matter she could only see the lifted hood, not seeing his face, enjoying the sound of music still, with at least the radio not having stopped working. Way unlike the car, breaking down like this, in the middle of nowhere, as if it were just one more of his planned surprises, it seemed like too much of an intentional occasion, his bringing up the hidden side of their relationship once again, asking whether they could just tell her father already, knowing the answer already, that it didn’t work like this. No matter how good his standing in the company, leading their department at his age already, without the support from any relatives or friends but merely by his own desire and passion, he didn’t have enough of a stand, enough financial safety, enough of a social standing, to be accepted into their family just yet. They both knew that, just like she knew it bothered him, bothered him and added a bit to the tension, having to keep this secret, all their little hidden dates, the excitement from meeting each other in some supply room during the lunch break when it got too much, rather than walking around holding hands, it had aided to their relationship not falling into some state of always being the same. It wasn’t this much of a problem for her, keeping secrets, just how long had she hidden her identity from him, it must have been several weeks, weeks in which they had first gotten closer, attracted, desiring, not getting past the physical level until that accident had happened, the moment he had figured out she was his future boss, the heir to the whole business, merely working her intern to get to know some of the company’s ways of functioning. How easily it had suddenly progressed after that…       Not like it mattered too much now, they were too late to orientation, originally needing to be their first, the planning done by him, needing to take care of it all, her just silently helping out, not actually needing to do so, she would have enough to do with studying for some upcoming exams for university, but the excuse of needing to learn the things she later had to do was a good one to spend more time with him, to drive there together, wait until the others would arrive throughout the afternoon, half a day just for them, before they’d need to slip into their roles again. At least if they both had a single room it would be easier, she could just sneak into his room at night, fall asleep next to him, had gotten too used to that already, travelling to dreamland seemed to difficult while being on her own now, it didn’t fit the comfort she felt while falling asleep next to him.       A sigh left her as she finally stepped out of the car, wrapping herself into her coat, hugging it around her figure when stepping closer to him, looking at the engine carefully, trying to find anything that might be faulty. “Call some car shop to take it away and take care of it. The hotel shouldn’t be too far away anymore, it should be manageable to go their on our own. Unless you want to call them to pick us up?” She turned around to him, reaching for the collar of his coat, brushing any wrinkles away, looking straight into his eyes, trying to figure which option he’d rather prefer. “Your hands got dirty and you probably need a shower, too, before we start work. And you didn’t even eat proper breakfast, you should at least eat lunch.”Eat lunch with me alone, was only one of the unspoken aspects to her words, she didn’t want to sacrifice all their time they had, the last bit before they’d run into the other leading people of the department, intrude on their bit of time together, make it harder for them to be affectionate.       Slowly her arms wrapped around his waist, tip-toeing to have it easier to look at his face, pressing her body lightly against his. “I already called the hotel to tell them about our delay and they offered the car and sent me the number for the closest car shop. So we can either go with one of the two options I already mentioned or I’ll go to that convenience story I saw on the way from the highway, get us something to eat and we call the car shop once we settled into the car and started eating”, she suggested as third option, moving her arms a bit tighter to move him closer to herself, a grand action for her already, getting more and more used to physical affection the more time she spent around him, with him. “Will it be A, B or C for you? I’ll need to make the matching calls”. While talking, slowly and with time, her face got closer to his, lips nearly touching, yearning for his closeness despite their current surroundings, that anyone passing by would see them, more so since a standing car would attract quite some attraction, with the people owning it missing it might also arouse some suspicion but she didn’t have these kind of thoughts right now, way too distracted by the soothing scent of his cologne.       But as sweet as their little moment was quite as soon it ended, her ringtone resounding from the insides of the car, disrupting their time together, making her exhale one another sigh, just before solving from him, unwillingly, not wanting to just yet, to stay closer to him now that they easily could. But no chance, instead bending into the car to retrieve her phone and pick up, watching him with attentive eyes, carefully listening to those words she heard, a satisfied glint creeping into her eyes with which she looked at him, replying to the questioning expression. The call was ended soon, slid into her pocket, leaning against the car while looking at him. “It seems their train got some troubles so instead of in three hours, they’ll probably arrive only in the evening. So should we go for option B, call the hotel to get a car and to get yours treated, and after lunch make use of their swimming pool for a bit?”
Definitely, option B had been a good one, getting picked up, car in the repair shop, and while Christopher had tended the business matters, looked at their congress room, printed all the necessary files, she had been in her room, working her way through books and papers, meaning to learn everything she needed for the exams before she’d lose all her concentration for being around him once again, which didn’t happen too late after. Elegant lunch, being able to take a stroll around the gardens while holding hands, asking how favored the swimming pool would be around this season but considering there weren’t many people at the hotel…       Nothing felt better than this very moment, surfacing from the water, right into his arms, being able to wrap her arms around his neck, clinging with her legs to his waist, his hands soon on her face to brush back her wet strands of hair, freeing her face from the obstacle. “We should do something like this in summer”, she muttered, leaning into the caress of his arms, closing her eyes to just enjoy the feeling for the moment, the warmth of his body so close to hers, strong arms holding her with ease, her already light weight lessened further by the water, making it just that much easier for him to press against him, soon resting her chin on his shoulder, fingers tenderly tracing his backmuscles. “Let’s go for a weekend vacation and just have relaxing moments like this…” Without anyone bothering them or daring their cover to be blown, even now she had needed to make sure, calling their colleagues in advance to their little swimming break, making sure they’d still be on the way and not possible interrupting their bit of time together.       “Or wait until my mother’s on a vacation. Father got a swimming pool installed for her because she complained about being too hot in summer. We’d only need to wait until the house is empty.” Because even towards her mother they needed to keep the cover up, the only thing that was bothering her, only being able to tell about him, never mentioning his name, never able to introduce him, it was all too difficult, might mean her father would find out and don’t that dare happen, they’d both be finished. He’d lose his job, might be fired just like that, the scandal that would cause to their department, she’d be sent to a different department, her undercover identity probably blown, they’d treat her as the CEO’s daughter, no more chance for a relaxed part-time job. And even then they wouldn’t be able to date, wouldn’t be able to easily meet anymore, she’d get a new phone, his number lost, a new appartment, no more of his visits, that was the kind of person her father was, he wouldn’t give her to someone he didn’t regard as worthy and Christopher had not yet reached that point.       “I’m sorry it’s so difficult for you because of me”, she whispered, watching the reflection of his reflection in the water, the little waves caused by her own movements, caressing his skin below the surface, smooth beneath her fingertips, a feeling she truly loved. “You always need to go out of your way for me…                Are you sure it’s worth it?”
✿     to have your muse cook for mine
Himchan ✗ Yuzi       She didn’t understand anymore of this, the means of the experiment, exactly what they had created him for, what his purpose was. Admittedly, from the beginning nobody had told her anything to specific, they hadn’t told her about his shifting abilities, they hadn’t told her about his origins, their intention creating him, such a beautiful being with such a cruel side, something she had found out about in a way that should be so very impossible, something that still confused her, something she still hadn’t told him. Just like she hadn’t told him about the scratches on her face after their second encounter, after the second time she had seen him in his changed form, a sight that still ripped her apart, they beauty, such ethereal looks, and the cruelty of it, his whole body telling of aggression, of power. Oddly enough, she hadn’t known, the injury he had caused her, those bruises on her cheek, they hadn’t been caused because he had harbored any bad feelings, he probably only had wanted to get closer, to touch her, feel her, she just knew, because she had felt it, had been transmitted his emotions by being so physically close to each other.       But compared to being faced with his changed side, seeing his barbaric beauty, this very scene in front of her simply seemed surreal. The reason for it just as stupid once again, why she needed to watch over him, because he trusted her, listened to her, because he had never shown to much of aggression around her, because she knew how to coock, how to handle a kitchen, because she was used to being around him, unlike the usual kitchen personnel. So here she was, sitting in one of the facility’s kitchen, watching him clumsily handling the knife and cutting vegetables into uneven chulks, a sight that could nearly perceied as cute.       With an inaudbile sigh she got up, stepped closer to him, but the initial thought of teaching him, by leading his hands herself, was cancelled because of one little problem - she was too small to look over his shoulder. Even with heels on, she’d only be able to see this much, running into the possibility of him getting hurt, cutting those elegant digits of his. Plan B was more intimate, something she realized too late, but definitely worked out better, stepping out of her shoes, making it easier for him to see the cutting board despite being in front of him, having taken place inbetween the table and his frame, his hands covered with hers, muttering some explanations while carefully leading his hands, the pieces of vegetables soon turning out more evenly, once she had gotten used to handling the knife by using his hands, not her own.       But the longer she stood there, feeling the heat of his body at her back, feeling his breathing moving single strands of her hair, strong arms beneath her own, the less she was able to handle it, merely moments, enough to teach him how to handle the knife again, before she had to slip past beneath his arm, heartbeat echoing loudly in her ears, those feeling hot with embarassment, having been so very close to him. She should have looked for some other way, a thought crossing her mind too late, making her feel awkward now. “Just… Cut all of those vegetables, I’ll tell you about the meat later.” After she had gotten herself a drink, pulling a bottle of juice out of the fridge, making some distance inbetween them, cooling down her body with the cold liquid. Or at least she tried to.       Thinking about it, she wasn’t even sure what he usually ate, what they gave him, whether it was just normal food, the kind she ate too, or whether it was special, more fit to his character, the way his change told stories about hunters ruining their prey, mercilessly eradicating enemies, it was an entirely different strenght to human strenght, the kind she couldn’t imagine was sustained with a meager meal like hers. That kinda thinking occupied her thoughts for a while more, just standing there, thinking, still holding the open bottle, the one she nearly dropped when hearing his voice again, way too close to her ear, surprising her quite well, hot breath against her sensitive skin making her shiver for a moment.       It took her a moment, understanding his words, that he was done with the vegetables, drawing a nod from her, moving over to the cutting board, pushing the pieces of vegetables into a bowl for the mean time, before getting out the meat, chicken breast, just the perfect thing for some stir fry, easy enough for him to learn this soon, for getting some of the basic knowledges right. They had prepared quite some amount of meat, supporting her theory, that he didn’t base his strenght on a balanced meal like humans would, making her more curious, deciding it was something she would look into later, something to search the files for. “Don’t cut it too thin and be careful not to rip it while cutting”, she said, track of thoughts lost due to their earlier closeness, something she easily fled now, getting back to her chair, pretense of needing to put on her shoes again.       “I’m glad you didn’t get hurt lately.” Neither had he been visiting her in the middle of the nights, brought in by some staff members, meant to get his wounds treated, neither had she received his conscious, dipped into his mind, seeing what he saw, feeling what he saw. It might also mean he hadn’t changed lately, they didn’t tell her any of that sort, what kind of experiments he had to go through, but one thing she was sure of, if he had felt any kind of intense pain, she would have known it, would have felt it. Some days she wanted to ask him, whether they treated him cruelly, whether they hurt him, other days she wanted to ignore it all, think of them as merely dating, drowning in her one-sided feelings, not thinking he’d regard his doctor as a woman of interest. In the end she had never asked, whether it was not to hurt him, not to hurt herself with the knowledge, whether it was because it might darken the mood of their meetins, because she wanted to appreciate their time together, whether it was because she didn’t want to put him into troubles, hearing from him about what was classified information, she couldn’t tell, probably it just was a mixture of them all, ignored because she just wanted to be around him.       She must have drifted off again, tired as she was, easily hooked by thoughts, slipping into another dimension, pulled out when feeling his warm hands to her knees, kneeling in front of her, dark innocent eyes directed at her face, making her twitch with surprise, shiver because of the feeling of his hands, palms to her shin bone, fingers moving up her thighs, gently craddling her skin, driving her partly insane. “Where- Where did we stop?” Muttered words, question answered by itself when looking to his working area, the amount of meat cut and put into a tower, ready to be cooked, making her quickly get up, pulling down her skirt, preventing him from touching her legs just like that again. Putting out the pan, oil, turning on the stove for him and getting him a cooking spoon, she explained the following steps for the dish, making sure it was easy to understand, easy to follow even for a beginner like him, awaiting his nod before she got moving to fill the rice cooker and get some kimchi as side dishes.       It nearly seemed too easy, his getting it all done at once, too easy to be true, something to be proven right, too soon she heard a pained groan, loud noises from things being thrown over, just in time to see the pan thrown up into the air, oil pouring out, raining into the fire around the spots around, the flames shooting up, leeching off the oil, spreading around the working area, looking for more to burn. It was scary, it definitely was, but seeing him right in front, maybe not having dealt with fire before, not having expected that tiny explosion, toppled over from the shock, she was quick enough to get a move on, turn off the stove, cut off the gas supply, extinguish the fire with some towels.       The whole incident might have only lasted some moments, yet it felt too long, all flames died off, the pan thrown into the sink, not even looking at the state of the prepared food, her first thought was his safety, looking whether he had gotten hit or burnt anywhere, kneeling down in front of him, inspecting his arms, hands, the wounds he had suffered slowly disappearing, fascinating her, overshadowed by the fact of his adorable reaction, someone who had gotten hurt so often, suffered so many bruises in fights, each wound tended by her, was afraid of such a little fire, making her see him in a new light. A sigh of relief escaped her, seeing there was no terrifying wound, reaching out to gentle caress his cheek, soothingly petting his head. “Shall we give it another try? I’ll stay next to you this time, alright?”
