He’s just making his rounds, cleaning the house while Maxy’s in school and he has the day off. Goofy’d been working on getting the kids all over for a barbecue and their skateboardy stuff, but the first step to clear planning is a clean house. Or a clear mind? He swings open the door, smile becoming somehow wider as he sees who’s at his door.

“Well hey, there, Mickey! It’s been a while!”

And he’s scooping his friend into a bear hug.

The voice was unmistakable- who could miss the voice of the most famous mouse in the world, after all? And he'd shown up to talk to someone very famous- someone he looked up to a great deal! His ears were up, blue eyes bright, just beaming with excitement.

"I gotta say, sir, it's an honor to share a birthday with as great an actor as you. If you don't mind- I mean, if it's not too much trouble- do you think I could get your autograph?"

Jim blinks when the one and only Mickey Mouse starts talking to him. It knocks Jim off guard that some high and mighty  celebrity like him has come to talk to Jim. Even the duck knows when he’s been out starred. 

At first he thinks Mickey is mocking him when he tells him it’s an honor to share his birthday with him. 

But then he asks if he can have his autograph. Jim breaks into a smile. 

“Sure kid.” He says happily. “Wow, Mickey Mouse wants my autograph. Now that’s an honor.”

Has Donald let the three eggs out of his sight in days? No. “But if you want to stay for the hatching...Doctor says it should be by the day after tomorrow or sooner.” It would make him feel better. “Goofy, Clarabelle and Max are coming over tomorrow too to stay until it happens.”
