She's running on twelve hours of sleep over the past two days, having assisted on an appendectomy earlier that morning. Her hair was thrown up and her make-up was applied in a hurry, but she's managed to pull herself together, at least enough to look like a semi-functioning human being. It's an important event, a night where Peyton is representing her grandmother's foundation, something that she takes extremely seriously. After all, the Lennox family legacy was at the heart of everything she aimed to accomplish as a future surgeon. The gala is off to a great start and she's dressed all in white, choosing to opt for ice over fire, swapping her doctor's coat for something a little more glamorous.

Approaching the ice bar, she notices Andrés almost instantly; he looks like a million dollars, but didn't he always? "AP." His nickname falls effortlessly from her glazed red lips, a name that she hasn't uttered in a while, for reasons that still sting. "Glad to see you haven't sustained anymore injuries." She greets, eyes briefly glancing over the champagne and martini menu. "Although, your eyebrow sutures have healed pretty spectacularly." Blue eyes raise to meet his gaze, a knowing smile stretching across her rosy cheeks. "Your doctor must have had really good hands."

2K Games is getting ready to release the latest entry in the WWE 2K series with WWE 2K20. This seems to be a rather ambitious project which will bring a lot of new features for gamers to enjoy.

MyPlayer & MyCareer

For the first time ever in the franchise, gamers will be able to create and play with a male and female MyPlayer in MyCareer mode.

Of course, if we’re bringing female characters for MyPlayer, it only means we should be able to have a Mixed Tag. This is coming, too. You’ll be able to play as both superstars, and you’ll team up together in different mixed tag team matches throughout your career.

Expect to go through 18 different chapters in your career, including aroun 100 different matches and interacting with over 40 WWE Superstars from every brand, as well as legends during this game mode.

At one point, Red and Tre cross through an interdimensional portal to try to find the Undertaker who hasn’t been seen in years, encountering various surprises along the way.

MyCAREER is fully voiced again, this year featuring performances from nearly over 40 WWE Superstars, NXT Superstars and legends in addition to over 15 original voiced roles. Interact with newly-voiced Superstars such as Ronda Rousey, The New Day, Becky Lynch, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, The IIconics, Samoa Joe and more.

Track Red and Tre’s career progress with “The List” – as teenagers Red and Tre write down all the goals they’d like to someday achieve, which later becomes their road map to success. Can you cross off their final list item and get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

At certain points in MyCAREER, the decisions you make affect the matches Red and Tre compete in, who they team with, and possibly even lead to some alternate outcomes. Explore different choices to see what paths they might lead you down.

If there’s one piece of the game that becomes key for WWE 2K20 is its soundtrack. We are normally able to just leave the game running on the homepage and listen to all the cool music. This won’t be any different as we’ll have some nice music besides the obvious superstars’ entrance music.

What about My Universe?

  I don’t know about all of you, but when it comes to WWE 2K games, I focus quite strongly on the Universe mode right after I’m done with MyCareer. This all means that we need a well debugged version of this game mode. Here’s everything you’ll get in this mode.

Major and minor show match limits have increased from 7 to 9.

Pay-Per-View match limits have doubled from 7 to 14.

The number of championship titles per major show has increased from 6 to 7.

Simultaneous rivalries on major shows have increased from 3 to 4.

Pay-Per-Views can be co-hosted by up to 3 major shows versus the previous 2.

Players have more freedom to delete and add promos and matches.

50 of the most-used cutscenes have been reshot with female mocap actors to look more authentic when female Superstars are used.

25 new cutscenes have been added.

3,040 new promo lines are in the game.

Custom Matches can now be included in Match Tables, along with new Mixed Tag Matches.

New Championship Match setting in Match Tables can be used to make certain matches a title match.

Main Event matches in Match Tables have been tweaked so that those match types are more likely to occur on the show (Example: Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View).

New rivalry content includes options such as low-intensity enemies making peace after a single Pay-Per-View or low to mid-intensity allies slowly falling out over several weeks instead of a sudden turn.

The overall menu flow has been streamlined to make it more accessible to those new to Universe Mode. All deeper options are still available for experienced players.

As if her night wasn't horrific enough, the worst possible thing that could've happened, did. Peyton didn't know how to react or what to think; the normally cool, calm and collected surgeon was a mess, in almost every sense of the word. Only in the aftermath of the terror, finding her way through a corridor of Scorpion, blue eyes adjusting to the light, did she see him. "Andrés." Her voice is quiet, his name catching in her throat because she's not been able to stop crying. The image of Olivia, tied-up and worn out, fighting for her life was crystal clear in her mind. As a doctor, she felt beyond helpless because what the fuck could she do? It was her job to help people and yet, her friend was captured, alone, still missing. "C-can we get out of here?" Her hands immediately raise to cup his face, eyes studying his features in search of any injuries. "You're not hurt, are you?" Her thumb skims delicately over his cheekbone, his skin cool to touch. "Could you take me home with you? I... I don't want to be alone tonight."

"The thing about doctors... is that we stick to the facts." It wasn't oblivious to her; he was gorgeous, one of the top lawyers at his firm, no doubt with a plethora of women at his beck and call. On the surface, she knew his type. He existed in the category of men that were equal parts serial daters and serial heartbreakers. "Unlike your profession, when I'm cutting someone open, I can't rely on anyone else to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing, but the truth. It's just me in there; no witnesses, no testimonies, just the human body, bare and exposed." He's leaning forward and she's bridging the gap, enjoying the close proximity the two of them are currently sharing. "There's no ploy, I'm just trusting my own instincts." Peyton confesses, head dipping to look up at him, daring him to lock in with her.

When he sits and the bartender delivers their drinks, her eyes scan out momentarily over the crowd. "Maybe if you were with the right person, lasting all night long wouldn't be so painful." She notes, before taking a sip from her wine glass. "I'd definitely consult your doctor if the problem persists." Stepping away from him then, she lifts her clutch from the bar and keeps hold of her glass. "I think I'll go do my bidding elsewhere. If you're not so tense later, you can save me a dance, all of this is supposed to be a pleasurable experience after all." The blonde teases, leaning over to place a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks for the drink, AP."

There was a tickle of thought in the back of his head that he had allowed her out of his grasp too easily. He was usually the one that felt out of reach to women, the one who made their head spin with his nonchalance. Was it particularly something he would be proud of? No. But it was the creeping feeling of commitment issues that would always get the best of him. "I'm begging you to spare me from Anisa's torment. I don't wanna know nothing about what my sister gets up to. And I'm sure the feelings mutual on her part. Unless she has a lot of great things to tell you about me. Then by all means."

A smirk settled onto his lips at her excuse of a photo op as he leaned an elbow onto the marble bar and slowly shifted forward towards her. "I've gotta let you in on a secret, Pey." One brow perked as if to increase the interest. "Everyone else is in white, too. This isn't some ploy, now, is it?" Flashing her a bright smile, AP fully pulled back then. To slide into the bar seat before her smoothly. "I've been known to endure many a painful situations. Just ask my doctor." With her request, the bartender was called over within seconds to produce her drink. "Also, depends on how you're enduring your bidding."

In her head, she's trying not to think about how many times they could've had sex before now. How many times she might've already seen him naked if only things had turned out differently. If she's undressing him with her eyes, it's entirely his fault for having that complexion and wearing all white tonight. It stands out even more, contrasted against the gorgeous hue of his tanned skin and after hearing his cheesy compliment, she can't help but roll her eyes. "How original of you to go with the heart stopper. Remind me to ask Anisa if that's ever actually worked on any of her interns before."

The reality is, she has no intentions of actively trying to make any men jealous, especially not the crazed lunatic pilot that's been stalking her every move for the past six weeks. "I'm just here to do my grandmother's bidding." The blonde admits, setting her clutch down on the bar. "Speaking of which, how would you feel about a photo-op for The Ivy Lennox Foundation's website?" She asks, gaze firmly locked with his. "Not to state the obvious, but we do look like a match made in Heaven, don't you think?" Her own cheesy line is delivered with confidence, manicured fingertips smoothing over the sleek white material of his lapel. "Your tab, as in all night? You sure you can last that long, AP?" She laughs sweetly, but it's rooted in a teasing undertone. "I'll have a white wine spritzer."

Another drink had been direly needed. Ideally, he'd have preferred a bottle, though that would depend on how much cash he had on hand to slip to the bartender and how convincing he could be. But before he could dwell on that thought, a familiar voice interrupted him—one that always brought along a sense of longing. Had a client emergency not prevented him from meeting the beautiful blonde on the date he had worked so diligently for all those weeks ago.

Dark eyes sought out her gaze with an instant grin that grew against his lips. "Well, well, well, how many hearts have you had to resuscitate this evening, doctor? I'm still alive, but I may not be for much longer with you in that dress." A hand raised to his chest dramatically in show before it dropped to tuck into the pocket of his suit pants. With her words, a brow perked--that same brow that healed spectacularly. "I'll take that as a compliment, but watch out, keep it up and you'll make every guy in here jealous of me." His gaze flickered briefly to the bartender to catch their attention with a nod of his head, "anything she orders is on my tab for the night." Almost habitually spoken as he turned back to the woman. "Drink?"
