(( Anyways, today I’m back on my bullshit, figuring out more obscure details of Miranda’s anatomy that literally will not matter to anyone else besides me.
#Most secret royal advisor || OOC#(( right now its the various bones of her skull and how theyre shaped and how they fit together#(( because thats starting to bother me and i think will help in drawing mer heads more consistently#(( also will make them even more alien and weird#(( this also gets to lead into mer development too because im thinking abt how the bones of the skull fuse in development#(( and what kind of mutations they might have floating around in the population#(( funnily though they wont have many extreme mutations#(( because of how their reproduction works#(( but theres def a few merfolk out there with a few too many digits or gill pairs.#(( prolly some missing claws on their feet#(( but things like two faces just Don't Happen to merfolk#(( (namely because they dont make it to birth and got eaten by their siblings with a normal amount of faces)#(( ofc theres weirder benign mutations too#(( but theyre usually internal and cant really be seen as easy#(( which is prolly the case for most of the extra gills
