howdy, everyone! ❀❀❀
hello, nice to see you again! sorry for the small hiatus, a lot of things happened in my life very quicklyand i didn’t have much time to write posts with my boy asriel here. here’s an update!
❀ i joined a fourm rp called bearbones. i used to rp on this place called feralfront for a good five years before i left due to the toxic environment and people that bullied me awfully there. i even recently learned that the owner of the site is a pedophile sympathizer. yuck. this being said, bearbones is run on the old server, so it looks the same as feralfront did before it changed it’s layout. i cried from all the nostalgia and immediately joined. i rekindled some old friendships and brought back my old ocs. i was stuck there for a couple days and completely ignored citta. i’m sorry, my loves. i love this fucked up city and all the characters and the wonderful muns and mods. i’ll never neglect you again (that’s probably a lie).
❀ i saw markiplier in indianapolis! it was an amazing experience and my friend got called on stage. fucking. amazing. we slept in a hotel and my friend got wasted and we played cards against humanity. horrible hotel, it was really sketchy and had mannequins in the windows.
❀ i turned 16! one step closer to living under societies rules, dealing with taxes, and working 50 hours a week until i ultimately die. heck yeah! i also went to dinner that day after work, so i couldn’t do replies when i got home.we went to a vegan friendly place and i was overwhelmed with the options to the point where i was nearly crying at the stress of having to pick sometime. i’m used to ordering fries and leaving.
❀ i started a job on my birthday too. from going to being barefoot all the time and walking 5000 steps or so a day to wearing full covered shoes and walking 12000 steps around a gas station is HARD. i’ve been, understandably, exhausted.
❀ i started a new medication! it made me tired as hell for a little bit and it’s been giving me so crazy dreams. but, if you know me, you know my body typically reacts awfully to medication and i get horrible side effects. this is nothing! after a small little bout of wild emotions, i’m pretty much back to normal with a lot less anxiety.
❀ i came out as nonbinary to my close family!! it went so much better than i could have ever expected from them, even if they don’t completely understand right now. i was under a ton of stress about that for a few days.
❀ pride is this weekend! friday and saturday i’ll be spending the time there with my girlfriend and her family is having a cookout saturday night. sunday is fathers day so expect business then too.
all of this being said, posts should go back to normal SOON! hopefully, if i don’t pass out after work tomorrow, ‘ll get some responses done and throw them in the queue. a starter call may be up for the event too, but i’m realllly bad with time restraints so this might actually... not be happening. if i have more time like this by next monday where i can’t get anything done, i will put asriel on a hiatus. then i can get all my drafts done and come off when im comfortable enough to be on a schedule. i’m trying to remember that this is for fun and my mental health is more important! trust me, i’m trying! while i’m catching up, if anyone wants to hmu and plot with me or something, feel free. love you beautiful people, i’ll see you soon! <3

SEATTLE — It was Sue Bird’s party, with seemingly each and every visitor satisfied to be in attendance to share the exclusive celebration with her. But on the court docket, the WNBA All-Star Activity was a thrilling display screen of three particularly electrical article players.
For the winning West All-Stars, who defeated the East a hundred thirty-121 on Saturday at KeyArena, the No. 1 draft picks from 2011 and 2012 — Minnesota’s Maya Moore and Los Angeles’ Nneka Ogwumike — led the way. Equally now have been league MVPs, and they have that capacity to will their teams to championships.
Previous October, Moore hit what may have been the shot to gain the WNBA Finals, a classic-Maya turnaround baseline jumper. But then on the other finish, Ogwumike’s 2nd hard work following her shot was blocked clinched the championship.
Saturday, Moore experienced 23 points and three helps, Ogwumike 22 points and 7 rebounds. The All-Star Activity MVP was awarded to Moore, but it could have long gone possibly way. For that matter — since which team wins this video game actually is not that critical — the honor could have long gone to East star Jonquel Jones of Connecticut.

About the only thing Jones missed throughout All-Star Weekend was the collecting Hen experienced at a downtown Seattle nightspot on Friday evening Jones admitted following an early early morning of increasing the WNBA flag atop the Area Needle, she was far too fatigued for any revelry in the evening.
She place her rest to good use. Jones concluded with 24 points and 9 rebounds, plus performed the function ordinarily reserved for Phoenix’s Brittney Griner, who was chosen for the video game but couldn’t participate in owing to knee and ankle injuries. That is: Jones dunked. It arrived in the vicinity of the finish of the video game, and place a small exclamation place on just how proficient the younger Sun middle is.
Admittedly, both of those the East and West had been in collusion with Jones’ dunk anyone preferred her to do it.
“We said, ‘What do you require us to do?’ ” Ogwumike said, smiling. “She said, ‘I just require some house.’ And had been like, ‘OK, great.’ I thought that was the cherry on top rated.”
Of class, when the serious game titles get started yet again, anyone in the league will be making an attempt to get in Jones’ way to sluggish her down. (Or, you know, hoping a teammate does that.) She’s a six-foot-six drive who is on the categorical elevator to league stardom, and she seems all set for that. Will not be amazed to see her dunk even when people are making an attempt to quit her.
She was a 2nd-spherical pick in 2008, but by 2012, Allie Quigley wasn’t even in the WNBA. But in her All-Star debut Saturday, the Chicago Sky starter gained the three-place contest and scored 14 points off the bench for the East.
Maya Moore scored 23 points, reigning league MVP Nneka Ogwumike extra 22 points, and the West outlasted the East a hundred thirty-121 in the WNBA All-Star Activity on Saturday, with most of the attention on Seattle’s Sue Hen.
Sue Hen is self-admittedly private. But the WNBA All-Star is last but not least opening up on her job, her marriage with girlfriend Megan Rapinoe and why it is really critical to communicate now.

“I just preferred to go out there and have pleasurable,” Jones said. “I want to get again to my team healthful and make that playoff press. That’s the major thing. But it is really wonderful to go out there and have a good video game in this article.”
Jones may have been Ogwumike’s teammate she was picked No. six in the 2016 draft by the Sparks, but they instantly traded her to Connecticut for guard Chelsea Grey. It is a deal that has labored out properly for both of those teams Grey, who also was an All-Star in this article, performed an integral function in Los Angeles’ operate to the championship final calendar year.
And Jones is now a teammate of Nneka’s sister, Chiney Ogwumike, while she is sitting down out this time following an Achilles’ personal injury. The Sun have occur collectively much better than a large amount of folks had been anticipating, with Jones averaging 15.eight points and a league-higher 11.two rebounds. Regardless of what the Sun complete this calendar year is anything they’ll be ready to create on up coming time when Chiney is again.
The Sun are 12-9, third in the league standings at the rear of Moore’s Lynx (16-two) and Ogwumike’s Sparks (14-six). A complete large amount can materialize in between now and playoff time, but correct now, Connecticut seems most effective positioned to possibly avoid a repeat of final year’s Minnesota-L.A. clash in the WNBA Finals.
Of class, if we get that matchup yet again, that would be fairly epic. The three Sparks players in the All-Star Activity — Ogwumike, Grey and Candace Parker — blended for forty six points and 17 rebounds. The four Lynx players — Moore, Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles and Rebekkah Brunson — experienced a blended 47 points and 13 boards.
And the dynamic aptitude with which both of those Moore and Ogwumike participate in — whilst also getting so responsible — helps make both of those the type of standouts you locate your eyes glued to when they are on the flooring.
“I know the East experienced a large amount of children,” said Ogwumike, who turned 27 earlier this month. “But I nevertheless take into consideration myself kind of a youngster. And Maya’s only a calendar year forward of me. So it is really good to see some of the expertise in this league nevertheless ripening. We all know what Maya can do to participate in with her and from her is an honor.”

Moore complimented both of those Ogwumike and Jones, stating of the latter, “Diana [Taurasi] and I had been conversing about her on the bench. We had been like, ‘Wow, this up coming generation!’ She’s placing in the function, and she’s coming into her individual. She’s acquired presents, and she’s a competitor. You don’t have to explain to her to go get it, it is really pleasurable to check out her participate in.”
As substantially as these three article players had been dominant in their performances, the working day — in point, the final numerous times — had been about a celebration of Seattle guard Hen. In typical, she would prefer to prevent that highlight, but she recognized, of class, why it was on her. And she was extremely touched by it all — the crowd’s numerous ovations, the compliments from her fellow pros, the total ambiance of “Birdapalooza.”
Who justifies that much more than a 15-time professional who has used her WNBA job in this article in the Pacific Northwest getting the image of this Storm franchise?
“Mainly because it is really an All-Star Activity, not a serious video game, you can basically glance all-around and see what’s happening,” Hen said. “You might be not so centered on a video game that you are not looking at the interruptions all-around you. This was exclusive since I recognized what was happening all-around me the total time.
“So I assume 90 % of the video game, I was smiling. The only time I wasn’t was when Stewie blew that layup and the three-place contest.”
“We’re in good palms … Jonquel, particularly, displays you this new-age participant, six-six and can hit move-again 3s and experienced the dunk at the finish there. She was skillfully performing some actually challenging things, and she produced it glance simple.”
Sue Hen on the up coming generation of stars
Hen laughed as she said this she was referring to a fairly sequence in the video game where by Hen expertly fed Storm teammate and fellow All-Star Breanna Stewart for what would have been a spotlight-reel participate in. But Stewart did what she hardly ever does: She missed the reverse layup.
“Oh, Stewie, you are under no circumstances heading to dwell that a person down,” Taurasi teased her in the West locker room.
As for the three-place contest at halftime — gained by sharp-capturing Allie Quigley of Chicago — Hen just did not have her touch. She did, even so, have a video game-higher 11 helps.
“It was wonderful for me and the Storm to host this and do it correct,” she said. “I assume we accomplished that. Anything for this has been extremely considerate that would be the most effective phrase.”
And Hen, 36, was rather considerate when it arrived to talking about players like Moore, Ogwumike and Jones who are all nevertheless in their 20s and place on the show they did Saturday.
“I assume what it indicates is we’re in good palms,” Hen said. “With each and every new generation that will come up, you get to see that women’s basketball is heading to be Ok. It is continuing to grow. Jonquel, particularly, displays you this new-age participant, six-six and can hit move-again 3s and experienced the dunk at the finish there. She was skillfully performing some actually challenging things, and she produced it glance simple.
“That enjoyable to see, since eventually I am heading to be a supporter, and I am going to get to cheer them on.”
