Ok bit of a hot take but I don't think gettin nothin but praise from friends is a very healthy thing, at least for me. Puts me in the mindset that I must always strive to do good to get the respect of my peers. Could be cool for ppl to slip in a little critique with their remarks, as a treat. Shows that they still love me even when I'm flawed, and also shows that they're taking me / my work seriously enough to give feedback, if that makes sense.

#I directly asked for critique once during GNC Contained b/c I could tell there was something I'm not quite doing right but #No one was really pointing out anything bad #So the feedback I got genuinely helped me improve and I made like. One of my favorite entries with that lmao #Also don't spin this as saying you should ONLY critique. Praise n critique go hand in hand #The good n bad parts of a work should be equally respected #All my top favorite games I can still name a few personal flaws with #Because I love them enough to know what I enjoyed and what I didn't enjoy as much #(Vagueposting about The Witness and Inscryption
