Also not a fan of FE5 having the arena be a fight to the death again, but that’s also kind of a moot point considering I’m too broke to even meet the entry wager.

#I’m writing a fe4 fic that features the arena as a prominent backdrop for some character interactions #and in the part I’ve written so far I made a point of it being mentioned that these ARENT fights to the death #since it’s based on fe4 arena mechanics. but now I’m wondering whether I want to figure out how to square it with fe5 mechanics too #(add a line like ‘yeah people in Thracia are cracked in the head and sometimes wanna see a good old fashioned death match’)#(that will not in fact help Julia feel any better about any of this)#roddy plays fe5
