#балаболим#THAT'S WHY I WANTED TO Make a post i wanted to share That#idc about tge negative connotation of the word scraps. scraps from food good#if i remember the meaning correctly. anyway.#been boiling orange (citrus) peels until they lose bitterness (3 times works) and then heating them up with sugar and spices#And then using them however i wish to. usually like. it's easy to blender the resulting product into puree and add all the stuff for baking#(yk. flour. salt. whatever you need for whatever citrus bakery you wish for.)#and Baking.#...i guess i wish to share because i didn't really expect it to turn out alright? yk. scraps and not so great past bakkngy experience#(again nothing bad in scraps. but uh. again. negative connotation to most)#but. most of who had tried the resulting fruitcake (i suppose that's fruitcake. or fruitBread. no egg no milk cause yk. family is fasting)#they said it's good. and that's something that's pleasant to know and understand. it worked out.#...it also comes out in this. rather nice yellow color)#dunno. i'm content at the moment i suppose. feels nice))
