A rough sketch of two concepts for a non-futuristic-but-dark-fantasy-oriented-instead AU we've managed to create together with wife.

Rouge as the vampire queen (she doesn't feed off of other mobians - not without their consent - but the hunters still love trying to kill her, the idiots) and Shadow as... whoever is he anyway? (he's actually an artificially created powerful half-demon; most of his powers are hidden away by the arcane bracelets on his wrists and ankles so to most he appears as a ordinary hedgehog) Two immortal besties. <3

(we just started talking about Halloween costumes and various other AUs we've seen and... yeah, ended with this; Omega is also there - he's a half-stone, half-metal golem) (as well as a team of hunters consisting of: Knuckles, the skilled hunter, last of the echidnas; Sonic, his friend, a speedster blessed by the Spirit of the Wind who's unfortunately been bitten by a werewolf and has been suffering from lycanthropy ever since; and Tails, a young but very smart and talented two-tailed kitsune)
