played touhou 20 demo since i happened across a download of it and honestly i mean like. i still like the music as usual and the character design is delightfully stupid as always and i had fun otherwise but i really cant lie i had this look on my face most of the time

#i think most of the ai images are contained in stage 3. aside from st1 boss's spell card background i think #(aside from. the startup loading screen and the........game background.... yikes...)#i think. dont quote me on that. but stages 1 and 2 looked a lot more like what i was used to for th backgrounds #most of them you wouldnt notice unless you looked at the raw image files but even if i didnt know i def wouldve noticed on the pyramid.#it looks................... really bad. like good god.#i really dont know where i stand anymore on the debate of whether or not this was done intentionally.#honestly i dont even care anymore/... the only thing im hoping for is if by some miracle it actually gets taken out #cause idk anything about gamedev but from my point of view most of these textures seem like theyd be extremely easy to swap out.#but even then my hopes are not.. high. for that scenario #just makes me sad man #bri talks #bri thoughts
