Totally random thing that I’m just so confused and flabbergasted that I have to tell someone. Apparently, my nana doesn’t believe in evolution???? Like, on some level, I totally get why my “technically, in terms of clades, fish either don’t exist as a category, or humans (and most, if not all, other mammals) are fish” thing sounds ridiculous (hence why I didn’t bring it up with her), but to deny evolution as a whole??????? what???????????

#fun fact: this was how i found out that shes apparently christian #shes literally never brought that up until now #and that was to say ‘well. no. we didnt just spawn in. god created adam and eve.’#(at which point me and my brother were practically falling over laughing because wtf)#im just utterly perplexed #she literally was like ‘scientists cant prove evolution’#*yes they can!!!*#and they have #i cannot with her 😭#(i would be kinder about this if she wasnt so mean btw)
