resident evil games are fun because once in a while they just yoink away your player character and stick a new one in front of you and go "here. play as this one for a while"

#anyways guess which part i got to in re4 #it's exceptionally funny when you realize that it's sometimes a character who is MORE powerful than the one you play as #(e.g. ada in re2. chris in re8)#sometimes you're left with nothing though #(e.g. sherry in re2. ashley in re4. mia in re7)#(although credit where credit is due. mia does find a machine gun)#this post sat in the drafts for a while tbh #it's still funny to me. on multiple occasions do they literally make your player character unplayable #'here have a new one for a few mins. go fix the other one'#resident evil
