#(particularly bc there's a reblog with a tangent on it about Imogen's emotional state—which imo is adjacent to my question here)
Text
I really am just thinking and musing to myself, just swimming through the vibes and ether on this: Laudna, do you tell Imogen that you will support whatever she chooses for herself in this Vanguard problem because you sincerely support her through it all, that you are truly able to love and stand by her always because you have faith in the choices Imogen makes and are committed to the person that she is as expressed through those choices?
Or, are you afraid of not having Imogen at hand all the time because you have been so deeply lonely for a horrifyingly long time and you have become reliant on her in your life as a presence, so you will accept her decisions blindly because that is what will cause the least amount of rift between you two, even if it means giving up standing by your own decisions?
And, if it is the latter—Laudna, are you really going to let someone loom like that over your life and let your life be so defined by the choices made by someone else for a second time?
