concept that was literally keeping me awake at 3am last night: what if asgard had a writing system that was structured similarly to circular gallifreyan but visually resembled mediaeval knot art

#space viking tag #they imply that that might be what the mark the bifrost leaves is in t1 #but ummm. what if *i invented this*#i have some knowledge of linguistics. i used to draw celtic knots all the time so i know the basic principles of that too. i COULD.#(*norse art is a little different but afaik mostly just through being less regular and mathematically perfect)#(stylistic things like branching and varying width. not things that make it a whole new. concept?)
