#I had started this as a way to cope with the trauma of learning greek (which I've always considered way harder than latin)#trying to find a relief in the good and the silly in a language whose translating had brought me to tears countless times#my teacher had always been a huge bitch so this blog was something of a shelter to me#to forgive Greek for her wrongdoing and wrongteaching#to try to still appreciate Greek though the context I was forced to learn it in#and it did help#it did help not hating the language#(though my brain put a complete barrier on and refuses to learn its grammar#and though my teacher is still a huge bitch)#but in the end#Greek has redempted itself in my mind#I've made peace with that.#also thanks to you all supporting this stupid shit I'm tryna put up with#ancient greek#not content#we're at 300 on Useless Latin btw!!!
