March 21st, 2024: Old man Rex makes one (1) icon with a PSD file that was given to him. I've never touched Photoshop/Photopea ever. I fought for my life. It took 17 years of RPing to finally do that.

How did I make icons myself before, in the years of 2012-2017, you ask???

I just screenshot shit, threw it into MS Paint, cropped it to 100x100, and called it a day. Times have changed since then.

Talking about Cal's reconditioning process, under the cut.

So talking to Vincent about Cal turning into an Inquisitor through reconditioning made me imagine how painful it would be for Cal and it genuinely made me sad. I could only imagine how loud he'd be screaming, to the point where his voice cracks, to the point where he can no longer... Scream. To where he no longer has a voice to scream. The tears he'd shed, begging for the reconditioning process to stop but even his pleas of mercy are ignored.

And even at the threat of going through the process again, when he falls out of line or doesn't yield favorable results, a man standing at six feet tall, weighing 180 pounds would flinch and tremble.

𝐎𝐎𝐂; CC3 comes out next week and I am again reading ACOTAR and I am determined to come back to Rhys because I just miss him so much. So that being said, I will be doing a google site for him, hopefully will be finished before Tuesday and then, we'll see what SJM has in store. activity notice.     hiatus until further notice

irl update.     for those who know a little about the situation, just want to give y’all a little update. im still working on getting a lawyer, however, i did manage to find some temporary housing. it sucks that after 8 years of being homeless, im being thrown back into it but im doing okay so far. i have a few plans for moving forward and if i do end up being fully kicked out, i will most likely be moving to germany, which is exciting.   i appreciate everyone for the support. words cannot express how much it means to me. i love each and every one of ya. 

as for here, i won’t have my own space for my desktop so i won’t be writing on here like at all. discord is of course open to any mutual. i might explore writing via discord but we will see. so yeah hiatus until i get my life figured out. ill be mobile bound so feel free to hit my dms up and if you want, my personal is @heavenlyblues​

so shall we get started on the fact that homegirl here thinks that men's sexual parts are "eels" and women's is a "cave" because that was what she was taught by a panicked step mom ? legit for years its what she thought & because she grew up in where it is wrong to talk about the subject of sex - she did not know better until she met someone willing to explain ?

legit imma tell it from what happened with @battleguqin because it is too funny and his reaction still has me dying with laughter. but mulan and him somehow got on the topic and she explained in a way that was similar "a man likes to explore with his eel different caves and tries to make a home by squirting" - and she was 100% serious on this, because it was how it was explained to her. then she turned mortified by his reaction because he was so flabbergasted before going all doctor mode and showing her diagrams to show her how wrong she was !

but this happens in every single verse. she legit thinks this way & it takes either having a friend or a SO to explain it to her. & her reactions are always the same. she is haunted by it forever after & will try to hide her face whenever thinking about it because its beat red.

there are other things that embarrass her, but they mostly have to do of when she first realizes she likes someone - like when she accidently walks into walls because she's staring at them. or when she trips on something suddenly. she legit thinks shes going mad because she's never done that before. but those are things she can laugh about. the worst one is the eel thing & its the one i highly recommend teasing her about because her reactions are priceless !

I have many s.onamy thoughts,,,,,,,, particularly spoke abt w/ @badnikbreaker [ sorry for the tag but maybe you'd like to see some of this- ]. im very much in a spot where I hate their portrayal by the fandom most of the time- because people either shove them into stereotypes or go against BOTH of their core personalities.

I genuinely think both are at fault and not at the same time for how they've acted in canon towards each other and how they are now. they're both kids / teens in many of the games we see them bickering / talking in; adventure, heroes, black knight [ the end scene. . . sighs heavily ].

we do see sonic constantly running away from any of his feelings, not just romantic. he's not an emotional person- the most recent we've seen him " cry " in ANY media wasn't even crying... it was just him very briefly wiping his cheek [ prime s3, the first episode that was free on YT. it doesn't count as a spoiler since it's been out for bit at this point, right? ]. this isn't including the archie comics since sega has pointedly decided to ignore them. . . yet my point still stands. it doesn't excuse him not being honest or forward with how he feels towards amy though.

at the same time. . . amy is always portrayed to be very in tune with her and other people's emotions; I wouldn't call her sensitive, but she's not purposely pushing her feelings aside. at the same time, there are hints of her having a slight anger issue with the amount of times she's chased sonic around with her hammer! and to be quite honest, it doesn't help her trying to win over his feelings at all- especially as teenagers. but we've also seen her acting sweet towards sonic in media such as X [ from what I remember. . . ] and sonic even reciprocating in those moments.

I very much think people forget sonic and amy are kids / teenagers for so many of these moments. . . they're still LEARNING how to love [ or in sonic's case, how to healthily express his emotions / learn it's okay to NOT be okay sometimes ]. amy, likewise, is still learning how to fine tune her feelings. it's also why in frontiers, their dynamic changes! no more is sonic deliberately ignoring her feelings- and in turn, no more is amy trying to force him into a relationship.

and. . . to be quite honest, this doesn't even get into my opinion on whether or not they'd even work out in the end LMAO. but I think people need to know the blame doesn't fall on just one person- or if there's even any fingers to point in the first place. it's entirely possible sonic just. . . isn't into amy in the end. and that's not necessarily his fault. you can't force these kinds of feelings.

so the tldr is uhhhhhh opal needs to stop thinking so much and go work on his assignments-

Grand Inquisitor!Cal would be such a heartless... Idek what to call him. He'd use the Force to punish prisoners if they weren't giving him the information they want.

And he could tell through the Force if someone's bullshitting him. Prisoner beating around the bush? Yeah, no problem, he'd use the Force to suddenly slam the prisoner's head down against the table and force push it away. Then he'd laugh and say, "...Wanna try that one more time? I could do so much worse."

He's being merciful for doing that much. But all bets are off if he loses his patience.
