i don't feel like going to my main blog for this but anyways. i didn't really like 2023 shin kamen rider, for a bunch of reasons not limited to the fact that hideaki anno is my parasocial enemy.

however the part in the beginning where we see hongo's uncovered altered hands made me squirm. then when he moved to take off the helmet i was literally like NO NO NO NO NO-- *covering my eyes expecting the worst.* i hadn't been truly unnerved by body horror in a LONG time. maybe at least i should revisit that for stun inspo.................
