#interview with the vampire #*sickos meme* hahah yes! yes!#wholeheartedly love how Lestat's sudden death changes the mood completely and shakes Louis to his very core #the part where he wants to dive into the swamp alongside Lestat's body??? after just thinking of how Lestat; with his #mystery and compelling personality; is reduced to a weightless mass in an indiscernible white blanket #and Claudia throwing chrysanthemums all over him as if burying him in a funeral!!#and as I assumed #his death IS the beginning of 'the end' for Louis and Claudia #or at least the final chapter in how their relationship used to be #vampire chronicles

i got my hair cut pretty short and i am :) so happy

#it was like shoulder blade length? a few inches past collar bone? idk around there #and now it's like up by my ears :)#i feel so light and free i'm so happy #hairdresser was saying she hesitates to do dramatic changes like this the first time she sees someone #but that i was so enthusiastic that she just went for it lol #i think i said something like 'sorry if this is a lot'#and she was like 'oh don't worry i'm having a GREAT time' lol #she paused a few times to ask me if i still wanted to go shorter which was nice #when she got out the clippers i felt like the sickos meme. yes hahah YES!#a talking onion

On all levels except physical I am doing the sickos hahah yes meme, because part of our current assignment involves making a short post about a tradition of our choosing in the tutor group forum. I am a chronic folklore nerd. The amount of traditions I know of that aren't already covered in the module materials is vast and I love them all.

....... unfortunately I need to squash whatever topic I choose into 150 words.

i have to imagine there were/are dirk enjoyers who are not happy abt all this. altho from what i understand this is pretty in-character so maybe the dirk enjoyers are all the sickos meme like “hahah yes YES” idk. i personally am sickos meme because i love to get to watch a character go apeshit while maintaining 100% conviction in their megalomaniacal beliefs. yes king. be evil. be conflicted about your weird brotherson. even the sickos r probs not pleased abt the bigotry tho.

anyway my only other thing is how much time every character spends staring directly at the camera like “is this what you want? you want to see dave say he’s bisexual in those specific terms? you want him to say i am bisexual and i am in love with karkat and want to kiss him on the mouth? well i would never say that. grow up”

alsoooooo i’m sure somebody smarter than me has said sth more interesting than i could abt every character openly anxiously expressing their fear of appearing or sounding xenophobic while constantly lampshading the fact that other forms of oppression have been quote unquote solved but there sure is a lot of that!!
