something to consider— i haven’t seen much SNW so not sure how canon to TOS ya’ll considering it to be but if they *gasp* make spock/kirk date or whatever, how would that end?

i can’t decide what’s funnier, either it doesn’t end and it implies that spock and kirk were dating the entirety of TOS or they break up, and have been trauma bonded exes for the entirety of TOS

Stardate 1711.20:

 Today's entries in the #TOSRewatch were "Charlie X" and "The Naked Time." Notably, we again see the fact humans should not get godlike powers, and the Enterprise's first flirtation with time travel. Kirk tries to explain retro-future gender relations to a 17 year old psychic who was raised by aliens, and a viral mutation makes Mr. Spock show he has a bit of an Oedipus complex. Sulu receives the first Vulcan neck pinch, Uhura responds to "I'll protect you fair maiden" with a line that goes right over the censors' heads, "Sorry, neither." And speaking of Uhura, having flirted with Spock openly on the bridge in "The Man Trap" she now jams out with Spock playing his lyre, singing about the fact he broke her heart. So, all you KelvinTrek SpUhura deniers can suck it. Next voyage: "THE ENEMY WITHIN"!!!
